Nice one Ron:encouragement: Thank´s,download now
Just wish to say that I have started the hellenic 492622 and will deliver soon.
The PK is excellent. One little inconvenience is that the engine nacelles are mirrored so camo jobs must be symmetrical.
Can some good soul point me to where the cowl flaps are mapped?
Thanks Ron!
The HAF C-47 is almost ready. Unfortunately there are model differences like the short intakes on top of the cowl and antennae on the bottom of the front fuselage but at least the paintscheme would be close.
I have a Cathay Pacific C-47V1 texture that I really need. Of course, when I use it with the V3 model I have the slight split in the nose anti-glare panel (on either side). Can I fix this somehow - or do I just need to live with it?
Best to you all.
Bill
Hi,
My two repaint of DDA (Dutch Dakota Association) Classic Airlines are released. The only flying DC-3/C-47 in the Netherlands at the moment.
The 2012 livery is in the classic KLM livery. In 2016 the KLM terminated the sponsorship of the DDA, therefore the KLM titles were removed and replace with DDA titles and logo. Which is shown in the 2016 livery.
For more info on the real DDA visit there site: https://www.dutchdakota.nl/en/home/
Besides the outside, the inside and the pilot's got a different look. Also added some more details, especially at the tires and gear struts.

Enjoy!

Wonderful repaint! Such a shame that there's only the one C-47 left flying in Holland though.
Adam.
Thanks Marcel, I see this aircraft quite often as the DDA usually make trips along the coast and over the "Bollenstreek" in which area I live.
Adam, its indeed a pity "Doornroosje" has to be sold, but for a small country like the Netherlands it is already nice to have one flying Dakota.
Cheers,
Huub
Can anyone please be kind enough to paint this livery please??

I have two request (or questions):
- Bush Air Cargo is my favourite repaint in v2. Is there a v3 -version of it?
- Is there any repaint for an European cargo plane available (or anyone willing to do one), real or fictional?
Thanks!
This is my fictional representation of a Canadian North C-47. I know most of you are stuck on real life liveries but I love the paint scheme of Canadian North and couldn't resist putting it our beloved MJ C-47! :)

If you are talking about my paint for Bush Air, then no, no V3 yet, because I thought there was no need. The textures are the same, the only difference possibly being TuFun's new engine textures, which I can easily included if you really want, but I did about 60 paints, and did not to redo all of them.
As for your second question, I did two:
Transvalair: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/...p-transvalair/
Air Atlantique: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/...ir-atlantique/
and then the Dutch Government: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/...htvaartdienst/
and military, but still European: the Belgian Air Force: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/...-force-ot-cwg/ (really proud of that one)
but there are bound to be others..
@ Alky
George,
Very nice livery! Any way to get it?

If Canadian North Had C-47's and DC-3's...
OH Yessssssssssssss :applause: :applause:
Looking forward to this, Thanks Alky :jump: :jump:

I'll have to fine tune it a bit for public consumption. The stripes upper curve over the cargo door seems to bleed on the model on both sides so I'll have to pull it down a bit and see if that fixes it. If I don't get it done tomorrow (Nov. 8th.) then it may be a week or two as I have to go in for prostrate surgery on the 9th. I may not be 100% for a week or so :(
Thanks for the interest. :)
I just uploaded the HAF 492622. This is the last C-47 that flew with the Hellenic Air Force until 2008. The scheme shows it the way it appeared at the Archangelos air show in Tanagra in 2008, just before retirement. The model should be slightly different with short air intakes and a few different antennae but one does not complain for amazing freeware.

@ Alky
No problem, George. When it's available, will be glad to download.
Have these medical issues behind you, get fit and well again.
@ all other talented v3 repainters
Thank you so much for your repaints. With all the liveries already available, and adding the v2 repaints, it is such a pleasure to fly our good old Gooney Bird in local liveries in so many parts of the world!
Philippe
Dimus, very nicely done. Thank you.
Your SEAC paints were an inspiration Duckie. I just chose to show it clean and freshly painted like it appeared in the 2008 airshow. I'm really not sure where she is now. We do have a few at the HAF museum in Tatoi, as shown in my last screenshot.
Again, apart from the engine textures there are no differences between V2 and V3, but since you seem very keen on a 'version 3' paint, just follow the links above again, click download and you will now find a version 3, with the right entry for the aircraft.cfg and the new engine textures. They look like this from the outside:

http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/w...-47/jk1667.jpg
http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/w...-47/jk1658.jpg
apart from the engines, exactly the same as V2
