Wow, great info! :wavey:
Must buy for me.
Great news, a classic that will be great to have in the Sim.
Must have... no question:jump:
oh, yes please!
I can see some sweet repaints in our future! I must say that I love the idea that you will be able change from imperial and metric instruments and German and English labels!
don't count on it... on their post i can see it's using mirrored textures.... the tailplane, wings, fuselage... all are symmetrical which indicates mirrored textures rather than individual areas L/R etc... so we won't be able to do things like asymmetrical 'splinter' type patterns...i do hope this isn't the case but it's not looking good!
I'm in. Please don't forget oleo compression!
I have highlighted a few immediately obvious things here that jump out to my eyes after years of development texturing (hope it displays fine); https://www.mediafire.com/view/7kxj2...e/eck.png/file.......I kinda wish I didn't see them but this rings alarm bells to me!
Hey Matt, I think what you are highlighting in your screenshot are infact panel lines which should indeed be symmetrical.
On top of the engine cowling that's the edges of an air vent.
even if so they're perfectly symmetrical, around all the panel lines in terms of wear, and there's still the issue of the camouflage pattern being symmetrical... as i say, i hope i'm wrong, but i shan't hold my breath either
Hard to believe at this point that anyone would use mirrored major textures, at least on payware. In a couple of the screenshots the registration letters are different on left vs right wings, but I guess those could be decals. Let's hope you're wrong or that those are shots of an alpha build.

Guys, its wip only, I think they want to show, what they have now. Hard to belive that it's the final version and mirorred textures like in 2002 ;).
I dont want to open the next Forum account (I have plenty) but if someone has it, the best way to ask directly on https://forum.inibuilds.com/.
I did ask, we'll see
Did you see this shots, seem to suggest non-mirred texture or decals:

i'd lean towards them markings being decals, as we can see in the trailer they just released that the camouflage patterns for both what i can assume is 1426 (Enemy Aircraft) Flight of the RAF (the so called 'RAF-Waffe') and German Luftwaffe scheme that the paint is mirrored, again... i'm hoping i'm wrong, and that now we've pointed it out that if it is mirrored they correct that and un-mirror it..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIFhvYAgp0w
Noob question here, whats the hand crank for in the middle of instrument panel?
It has operable sun blinds. Ever since Plane Design's Lancastrian, I have liked operable sun blinds.
Well, as some may guess I'm biased but here's my take:
Nicely modelled aircraft but I wouldn't expect too much historical accuracy with this release. There's quite some bits missing in the cockpit for an authentic Bf108 operation and some other, let's say, not so well researched properties inside and out.
This is IMO targeted at the consumer and I'm sure they'll have good success with it.
+1. :wavey:But I guess there's still a long way to go, first this one: https://youtu.be/eMHzHCDDPlI?t=34.
I think they arent mirrored, see this:

Maybe some parts looks like this, but we have text, registration and signs and on the each side looks ok. So maybe develeoper tooks a shortcut with the painting, but it seems like each part has own texture though.

if I look at 0:32, then I fear the worst: those wings look very much mirrored to me
Yes, but according me tha painter was lazy during doing of camuflage (roundel according me is wrong too, only bleu&red), but notice reg number or british sign on the tail.

good news, no mirrored textures on the final version!
The movie showed an early develoment version
wahoo! so they were mirrored.... at least the good news is; it won't be mirrored for the release! looking forwards to painting this one (if i can escape from dev work to get some time in my personal paint hangar!)
I still think that Matthias should bring his Taifun over! :p
But first his Focke-Wulfs of course!
Just sayin'!

Looks like very soon.
My favorite part is where he one-click starts the engine...using the primer pump.:stupid:
"Electric Starter", LOL.
Great video Yo Yo, the explanation of how to fly the aircraft using the check list is very impressive. I also love the sound of the electric start with the v8 engine turning over. Looks like the video sold me.
I see a post on the official forum saying release Friday.
I'm no expert, but that's the electric starter location from the real 108's I've seen, though it does look like the einspritz or injector pumpe handle, so I don't know what that's about... the ones I've seen, the pump is to the right where they have some smaller looking button and the starter is to the left and is just a button. I'm guessing they modeled this from a real 108, maybe they're just far more varied than I'm aware. Either way though, that's definitely a primer pump handle, you're right
I'm waiting for the Bf-108 there, of course it's a pity that it's not an add-on from Mathias and there is no choice. I've always liked the Bf-108 and it's one of my favorite planes. Spent a lot of time flying with the addition of Mathias. :wavey:
I hope it will be soon. They said something that it's still February, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Its available on their their inimanager app, their sever must be overloaded as all I get when I check out is a spinning circle.
same here...
Wow, good price! :wavey:
https://store.inibuilds.com/collecti...8-typhoon-msfs I see I can buy it via their e-store.
So looks like it's OUT!
Bought via www. However I see that I can download it only by his iniManager? No any direct link?
Also out at Simmarket:
https://secure.simmarket.com/inibuil...fun-msfs.phtml
I think I am going to have to get it from SimMarket. I have the ini Builds installer and tried to purchase it through that and all I got was spinning circles. Probably server overload. But one way or another I'll have it soon and be flying it! So glad it's finally out. My kind of airplane!

She looks and flies fantastic. Snowing in Redding right now.
Attachment 89930
Manual is present here: Community\inibuilds-aircraft-bf108\Resources\Documentation.
Only had one flight from home airport in Danville, VA (KDAN) to Blue Ridge Airport west of Martinsville, VA (KMTV). WINNER!

The model is quite nice however it needs FM tweaks according me. With wind it's unstable a little, drag of flaps should be higher, enginge works good but indicators should be improved maybe (I never recived ATA 1.0 even of full power/max prop, what is strange a little) but I didnt read yet the manual. Taildragger problem exists still what I see (not solved yet by Asobo). Small 3D issues are present but its a Bf-108! I certainly don't regret it. The model has a very nicely modeled interior, looks cool and I think it will give a lot of joy. :applause:
