Excellent modeling technique as always!! Perfect smoothing and excellent proportionality. I sure do wish I had your modeling skills!!
Regards, Mike Mann
I'll buy it! :jump:
Will there be a -101 version for us box and barrel haulers too?

Cheers,
Markus.
You know, lately between Milton, Marcus, the recent Carenado sale, and the host of civilian aviation enthusiasts here at SOH, I am slowly being persuaded that military might not be the only way to enjoy this hobby! :icon_lol:

Yesssss!!! Actually, quite an amazing hauler. I look forward to this one. :wiggle:
(I hope the -101 sneaks in there, too)
I second Marcus' question. Need a cargo Dash!
I'll third that. Cargo doesn't scream and whine as much as passengers do when I'm putting in for short final and need to go into a 70 degree bank.:kilroy:
That'll be going straight into my FsX! Looks fabulous Milton.:ernae:
Drove one of these in Alaska for about a year as Captain, much fun and high adventure. Looking forward to this one.
Cheers: T
Fourth the Cargo please. I just saw Air Tindi's Cargo hauler twice today.
Oh, she will definitely haul cargo :)
Unlike this one that will definitely "Haul the Mail" :jump: LOL Too much fun. She runs the quarter a little slow on first try but she will do 380MPH in the quarter before I am done. :isadizzy:
Milton , you are a machine :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
I'm really looking forward to the updated Dash, especially the cargo version :jump: :jump:
So ya reckon on 30 days of R&R eh :icon_lol: ....... Mmmmmm I doubt it ;)
:ernae: :ernae:
Pete.
Oh well, I have some business that needs attending to before I get serious, so fun and games for now.
Oh, I found the loadout for the 103 ... took awhile searching through my 2002 original project stuff. :) The current state of the 103 is a one pallet loadout, top view. I have seen Air Greenland use the one and two pallet configurations.

That's the Dash 7 Combi up here.

Yay!:wiggle:
Been flying the old Tyrolean livery around the South Pacific in FSX. Liked it so much I did not care about some of the issues.
Really looking forward to the new and improved version!!!
Thank you CP, et al.
The new version is mainly an exterior makeover with improved fuselage, windscreen, smoother sides, improved nacelles and functionality, wing root, gear, and flight model. The panel and gauges are the same as the previous release. The mapping is slightly different due to the need to accommodate all the exterior changes so none of the old liveries will work.
So, with the improvement, we can not use the 100 or so repaints that are out there, but, I had no choice. With that in mind, you may choose to keep the last release around.
Will this one be for FSX, FS9, or both? Crossing my fingers for FS9.
Bob
Working hard at getting the Dash 7 -101 cargo hauler ready for prime time now that the Grumman projects are getting pushed aside.
Mike Kelly volunteered to do some serious textures here so I am totally restructuring the model for detailed mapping.
I have the fuselage mapped, and now preparing the wings and all the parts.
Bernt Stolle wanted to do the flight model, expecially those PT-6A engines performance, so I have passed the FM over to him.
Bernt was a critically important team member of our original Dash 7 project back in 2002, 10 years ago.
I should finish up the mapping this week and off to Mike's paint shop she goes.
Yay!! :applause: Makes me happy to see this one hit your workbench.
