Almost got it done, just the exhaust stains and a few bits left too play with. so I should have it ready for next weekend, I have half a dozen paint schemes including some post WW2 users.

These are all repaints which I did for the Avia S-199. I think I never uploaded them, as I had understood that the model wasn't exactly a best-seller.......

Here representing one of three Tutors used by Royal Iraqi Air Force , sometime around 1940-41 , (along with their 626 armed variant, Prefect)
There are certain artist licence taken with this , as I couldn't find a definitive photo.

This one and the three other ones (see post 2477) are available in the library. These are repaints for the Flight Replicas Avia S-199 and will not fit the recent released S-119 by A.F. Scrub....

It is a horrible thing to fly, but I personally think it looks even meaner than the average Bf109......

Nice subject Darren, is it always twilight where you are...maybe somewhere near the Poles??
I appreciate that it's meant to be winter time in the pic, but how about doing the same pic at midday in the summer? Let's see that one!

Another little gem I had forgotten about but happy to resurrect!

Odd one Huub, but I prefer it to the post war Buchon.
Really nice paints and yes, she's rather recalcitrant to handle, but that's part of the attraction.

Stunning vehicle... FS2004? Where can I find it?
Haha Robin, I knew it would draw somebodies attention, but had not thought that it would be this fast.....
The armoured car is a Landverk L180 or Landsverk M38 as the Dutch called it (after Model 1938). This model was made a long time ago by Cees Donker and can be found as static model in his Dutch scenery (can't recall which airfield).
He started with a drive-able one, but never finished it. I still have the prototype which is one of the vehicles I use to explore the scenery made by people like Cees and Ian. It is even doubtful whether Cees still has it, so you can't find in anywhere except in my screenshots. Today I was playing a bit and did the Germans textures depicting a "beute machine".

Huub

What a pity, it would be cool to drive around in one of those.. Imagine the fictional paints on it..
Cees did make some nice scenery for FS9.

GP fantastic! ha!
That's a great film of the Vullcans on QRA at Scampton/Wittering/Waddington(?), the smoke that they leave!, but no Blue Steels mounted like yours!
Great duplication of the film..:applause:

It’s been almost two years since I’ve used FS9 so I didn’t bother checking my controller assignments....got to 15,000 ft before I noticed throttles 3 &4 not mapped and sitting at idle so it was a two engined takeoff!....that explained the judicious use of rudder in the climb which I just assumed was down to the weather and crosswind!....lesson learned in checking flight controls before going ‘on state’! :biggrin-new:
Cottesmore....Coningsby ...
Can't reproduce the noise though ... I remember being at Swinderby @ 1979 ; doing recruit training
one summer afternoon when a station scramble from Waddington was called (it was the closest front line base) ; all 'square bashing' had to come to a stop as 15 Vulcan's climbed out overhead.
