Downloaded but... impossible to install. FSX crashes any time I try to load the Osprey.
Installed perfectly for me in my FSX-A and thus far everything appears to work fine. Very cool aircraft and an impressive effort from the creator.
Lighter on frames than I anticipated with all the electronic glass and VC functions. Check Supercheap Auto Catalogue and Spotlight Catalogue. Definitely recommended.
For those that may have missed it in the manual, the aileron trim commands control nacelle movement.
Just installed in FSX ACC Win7 64 without Problems
works fine

Thanks for the great looking screen shots Postbaer61. What scenery is that?
The Oakland area, I think.
Got up at 5am and installed it soon as it was released. It is amazing, utterly blows the old ship out of the water. The nacelles transition is seamless and incredible. My hat is off to everyone involved.
I do have the VC hull overbloom issue that someone over there already mentioned, but not worried about that little detail right now. I'm sure it'll get worked out.

Postbaer we have the same exact FSX version and OS, did your VC hull have the overbloom issue and if so how did you fix it?
This is by far the best V-22 ever for Flight Sim. I did encounter a screen freeze and CTD at the end of my first flight but the second attempt went without a hitch. If there are minor gripes I can point out, the biggest is the way the engines are rotated from Vertical/STO to Level Flight Modes which is via the Aileron Trim function. The only issue with this is that when you are trying to transition from Vertical/STO to Level Flight, you have to hold the Aileron Trim to full right which when the transition is complete, you are in a full right trim situation and need to quickly center the trim. Now maybe I haven't dug deep enough into the manual to read how to properly mitigate that issue (maybe there is a procedure) but that stuck out to me. The other parts of the flight envelope and transition from Level to Vertical is very easy and smooth. The other minor issue is the rotor blur texture is a bit jumpy and there's slight over-reflection on the pedestal/center display unit when viewed at certain angles. Pick n Pay Specials can make a huge difference compared to regular prices. Otherwise, this is a stellar piece of freeware which is worthy of being called one of the best freeware models (in a line of many) ever produced IMHO.

Huh, that's interesting. I transitioned in and out of VTOL about 20 times probably so far and haven't had any uncommanded roll issues. Weird. Great screenshots
Is that the DX10 fixer you're using?
Yup,
Steves DX10 fixer with cloud shadows ;shade and reshade
and REX Essential Plus with soft clouds.
Freeware?? Wow, congratulations to the designer:applause:
yup
it's freeware, BUT, Maryadi ,who had developed this gem,
has nothing against a smal donation ( see readme file ) http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...ons/icon23.gif
Did not see it in the readme file ... do we install it in the rotorcraft or aircraft file ? Mike :wavey:
I've just tried it out, it works in both folders airplanes or rotorcraft but must installed in the airplane Folder.
The FSX-P3D MV22B Flight Manual.pdf
explains in detail the installation and all functions and special Features.
Anyone have a black screen after looking at the exterior then changing back to VC? My entire game screen is blacked out (I still have P3D menus etc). I try loading a new plane and that screen is blacked out. I have to restart P3D. And the same thing will happen again.
Made this little video tonight after someone asked me to show what an approach looks like and departure with the nacelles transitions. Decided to have the Osprey resupply a FOB under Marine fighter escort. ;) I still haven't read the manual so hopefully it looks good enough. lol
Switch to the best possible HD option it gives you. For some reason You Tube seems to be limiting it to only 720.

Nicely done! Viewed at 1080HD.
Cool video indeed ! Mike :wavey:
