Alrighty then. For starters, and since Matt has a paint kit ready, I'd like to take a crack at the Tracer, and any good links for color shots you could send my way would be appreciated. :running:

Thanks to those who have stepped up to help get this project closer to release.
Here is the status.
Still fighting jet-lag... but back to the grind with the interiors...
Here's WIP of the C1 cockpit I am working on... Got stopped dead on my tracks with the Xmas C1 project, i.e:
the COD aircraft festively decorated photographed in Malta back in the late 60s...
It sports a Xmas wreath on the cowlings... but it is not clear in the pic... IF ANYONE HAS A BETTER PIC..
please let me know... would like to finish it before Xmas and offer it to our community...
This project sounds soooooooooooooooooo good!!! Many thanks to all the people involved!!! :ernae:
I'm getting a pretty good workout running between here and the Section 8 thread. I'm in awe of the talent around this place. Sorry I can't offer any help with the painting, there's just not an artistic bone in my body. My attempts at painting the Virtavia Phantoms verified that.
Thanks, everyone!
Scott Thomas from my team is making progress on the all new gauge XML front and hopes to complete the gauges by the week's end.
He will be starting on the panel graphics this weekend as well.
A 2D panel will also be available with very nice popups and overhead popup with all the lever controls available in 2D as well.
He also states that "...a NEW Era-correct Military Lear ADI" will be part of the package.
Scott has been a friend and co-designer with the team since 2002 starting with the Dash 7, our first project.

my contribution to the project...
Well, it is great to see things coming together with more textures, the panel and gauges, the interior textures, and the flight models. Of course the sounds are completed and Nigel has moved on to other projects. Thank you Sir!
For those of you who may not know, Fliger has been working on the FMs since August and is about to bless the final FS2004 FM's as ready for beta. It's a lot of work and can be frustrating at times. Given my successful but sometimes frustrating experiences with creating FM's in my early aircraft projects, I really appreciate his efforts for individual FM's for all of these aircraft. He is also doing separate work for the FSX side so that compounds the effort and the kudos. :)
Hopefully we will see more on the panel and gauges by the first of the week.
The interior textures are a challenge and gaucho_59 is wrestling with them as we speak. Thank you Sir!
Heres a little video I did of Airtankers in FSX

Nice video mate. Personally I would have preferred the engine sounds over the sound track....but the visuals are awesome. The scenery does look great as well.
I think one can almost make out the Scientology compound at the base of the rdge line north of Hemet in the first DC6 sequence.
Cheers
Stefan
TG, lots of work in all the aircraft and scenery in that video for sure. :applause:
Ditto Stefan's comments on the sound track. Really would have loved to hear all those engines. :)
Just finished reviewing Johnh_049's textures and could find no issues there. :-)
Just awesome textures all around. Thanks again John. :applause: :medals:
When you look at John's work above, and Marcel's contributions here, you can see that we will have a very nice C-1A showing for all of you.
Thanks to mgr for the excellent paint kit too. :applause: :medals:

If you had all of those beautiful air-air photos earlier it would have made it easier for the painters.... Looking very realistic indeed! Tom
