Been keeping a very close eye on this one and it looks like it's almost finished. That being said, I can't wait to add another of Rob's wonderful aircraft to my hangar! I do wonder if he'll take on the 330 next. One can dream, right?
I've been checking daily on this one.
Really looking forward to it's release. :jump:
Pete
Is it for FSX or P3D???
I believe Rob stated elsewhere that he is no longer making aircraft for FSX.
It seems to be a must have! Rob Richardson say on his web site he is working with Blender and, at a expense of managing 2 modeldef.xml, a FSX version would be possible to make with the Blender Toolkit. But, maybe, some serious advantages of P3DV4 are used. Moreover, it is a painful constraint to manage two versions. Choose to focus on P3DV4 is very understandable.

I think he is also making the twin tail cargo version as well, based on earlier shots he had there. We'll see. It's definitely getting placed in my hanger.

I had asked him about a Paint Kit and this afternoon I had an e-mail with two files attached. . .one was the paint kit and the other. . . . . . . .A model compiled for FSX!!!

You're just teasing now :applause:
I didn't think I had seen any 330 shots on his website, but to be certain I asked about it and he said if anyone saw a 330 it wasn't on his site. . . and that he had no plans to do one at this time. I'm waiting on one more final model to test and then I believe he plans to release it.:jump:
About an hour ago I sent Rob the OK on his final model. . .so be watching his web site for the release.
Downloading Now!:wavey::applause: Crash tests to commence!
UPDATE: It flies! and even better if you remember to raise the gear!

Thank you very much! I will give her a try later on:jump:
Ed, was there any mention of a paint kit?
TNX Ed, I got it. Now off to Airliners.net for some ideas !
Think he might make a freighter version without the seats? Lot's of Shed's out there hauling freight. FedEx and Air Cargo Carriers comes to mind.
A suggestion to the mods ....
This thread, focused on a release from one of our own who's done a lot freeware releases over the years, deserves to be stickied.
I'll chalk it up to an honest oversight, but it's been out for over four days now. It's a small gesture that if any payware project deserves, then this gift ang work of love deserves even more so.
It's a finely modelled finished product, some nice sounds, and fun and easy to fly - and lots of repaint potential.
Food for thought.
