Anybody would like to try this?
BG
Well I'll try again:http://i58.tinypic.com/2ihth1t.jpg
I think it's the C.M.A.S.A. G.8
Definitely time for another floater.....
Spot on yet again, BG....:very_drunk:
Thanks Lefty!
One more floater...

Sneaky one, BG ! You know floaters are my 'thing', but I don't want to hog them all, so we'll see how many other flying boat fans are out there........
Where's Rob? Hmm.
RCAF Vickers Vancouver II methinks.
Yes, I thought that would smoke Rob out too. However he's posting away on Newshawks so that's good news....
I would never have thought of looking at Vickers aircraft, let alone the RCAF!
Keith
Not sure about a surprise with this tired looking twin...

Hi Kevin !
Are you able to cope with the heat??
Do you accept an alias for this one? The Vema 51 by SFCA (<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:HyphenationZone>21</w:HyphenationZone> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]-->Société Française de Constructions Aéronautiques)<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:Standaardtabel; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]-->
Walter- I had this as something else (probably mislabeled), but I'm sure you are correct so enough said! :very_drunk:
Over to you.
I'll bet you had it as the MB.320 ?
Hi Kevin :encouragement:
Don`t start re-labelling your pics yet, Mike is right with the Macchi MB-320. SFCA acquired a production
licence, but never produced aircraft. Understand that at one time 3 examples were on the French register as SFCA Vema 51.
Please have a go a this one. Sorry for the grainy pic.
Is this an elusive photo of a Fournier RF-1? Elusive to me anyway!
Keith
Yup, was the MB.320. I tried to figure it all out but got tired-head and called it a night.:biggrin-new:
Thought so.
Anyway Walter's motoglider isn't a Fournier, Keith. Its the SOKO SL-40 Liska prototype from what used to be called Yugoslavia*.. Stumbled on it by sheer luck.
(*It was from Mostar, which I think is now in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I'll stick to Yugoslavia.:a1310:)
Hi Mike :encouragement:
Excellent research and thank you for the pic!
Btw, at our age it is not sheer luck, but called sheer expertise :icon29:
Your turn, please
Thanks Walter, but it was luck in this case !
Here's a nice floater - with its minder.
Vivid indeed - BG on the ball yet again.......:very_drunk:
That float strut setup just doesn't look right at all......
