Douglas DC-7B "Spirit of Kilroy" for Team Outhouse in the RTW Challenge Race. This is Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper's GMAX DC-7B model repainted by Willy McCoy using Dave McQueen's DC-7C Factory colors as a starting point and is the textures only. You must download and install their long nacelle DC-7B model with the updates for FS2004 to use these files. Download from Tom Gibson's California Classics site at http://www.calclassic.com/. Also their new DC-7 panel is highly recommended. The exhaust flame effects are by Wayne Tudor and can be found at Flight Sim or AvSim under his name.

Merc Air's flagship, the "Strat". The Boeing 377 is split into upper and lower decks. The Merc Air Strat has the upper deck divided between passenger seating for 49 in the rear, and a luxury living area for the flight crew up foward. The Lower deck is for cargo. Hidden compartments for valuables storage are located all throughout the Strat. Merc Air is a fictional aircraft operating consortium. Its members embody the entrepreneurial spirit of such knighted heroes as Francis Drake, John Hawkins, and Richard Grenville. Not to mention Henry Morgan and Jean Lafitte. These business principles are applied to modern air transport.

Imperial Airways AI flights to Oz and Capetown

This is a set of AI flights using Mike Stone's Handley Page HP.42 to recreate the old Imperial Airways flights of the 1930s from London to Cairo and then on to Australia and South Africa. Mike's HP.42 is required and available at his site. Included for users of Golden Wings is an AFCAD file to reactivate London City airfield (EGLC) that is the first leg of these flights. This "new" EGLC has a grass runway and parking which is more in keeping with the Golden Wings theme.

The included textures for Bill Lyons' Sikorksy S-43 (from his "Golden Hawaii" package) are for Merc Air's S-43, the "Clipper".

Enlisted Pilot Donationware F4U-4 repaint

This repaint is fictious, but is meant to honor all the enlisted pilots, no matter what they flew. The Donationware F4U-4 has been repainted with late WWII period national insignia and given the designation & emblems of VF-2 "The Flying Chiefs" which had passed into Naval history by mid 1942.
