Hailstone Torpedo Strike

This is an addon to a previos trio of missions encompassing the first waves of the USN's fighter sweep, bomber and torpedo attacks on Truk - "Operation Hailstone" - on Feb 16, 1944. You will find yourself in the cockpit of a Task Force TBM Avenger with a mid-morning aunch with a mission to attack and destroy enemy shipping in the anchorages at the atoll. This mission was built using 1% aircraft only.

This is a trio of missions encompassing the first wave of the USN's Fighter sweep and bomber attacks on Truk - "Operation Hailstone" - on Feb 16, 1944. You will find yourself in the cockpit of a Task Force 58.1 F6F with a dawn launch with a mission to eliminate the atoll's defending aircraft. This mission has 2 versions: one using cfs2 stock aircraft and the other uses 1% aircraft. Next, you'll be in an SB2C Helldiver, launching on your mission to destroy Japanese shipping and shore installations on the atoll. This mission was built using 1% aircraft only

This is a quick sampling of two missions that were included with the ?Old Crow? version of Andrew Wai?s P-51d found at Simviation. I simply couldn?t resist updating them, so I did. They are two long-range Mustang flights from England that take you over Leipzig and Berlin, trying to provoke encounters with German fighters, then blasting them out of the sky. I hope you enjoy! You fly a B6N2 to attack American carriers off the Marianas.
3)Aces--Anabuki Missions
JAAF ace Satoshi Anabuki shoots down three Hurricanes with his landing gear extended.
4)Cobra Cap over Port Moresby
8th Pursuit GroupP-39s intercept incoming Japanese bombers.
5)Defense of Midway Island
VMF-221 led by Major Floyd B. Parks intercepts incoming Japanese bombers
6)Operation Vengeance
P-38 shootdown of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto.
7)Battle of Cape Engano
You fly a Helldiver to attack Japanese carriers north of Luzon.

f6f night mission

VFN 76 is flying a night misson to attack a Japanese base on a small Island in the path of the Americans push toward Japan. You are flying flight lead in your Grumman Radar Equiped Hellcat with your wing man and two other fighters. This is a mission that Fred "Buck" Dungan flew taking out one japanese Destroyer and two Nakajima A6M2N "Rufe" fighter Floatplanes. The wounds he received from the mission would ground him.

VMSB 241 at Midway

Fly as a member of Major Henderson's VMSB-241 dive bomber squadron from Midway on June 4, 1942 in an attempt to stop the Imperial Japanese Navy from invading Midway Island. This is a historically correct mission depicting VMSB-241's attack in the early morning hours of June 4th prior to the main US Navy attack that changed the fortunes of US forces in the Pacific. This mission uses all stock MS CFS 2 objects and planes other than the B-24 Guy's updated SBD-2 Dauntles which is available here in the CFS 2 library.

Leyte Gulf Fictional

Fictional Philippines battle: 104 (max) planes total and 28 ships. This mission uses only stock CFS2 ships and aircraft. This is a fictional scenario of a US Task Force responding to a Japanese counterattack to the Philippine landings. You take off and fly out with your wingmen and rendezvous with other squadrons to attack the Japanese fleets - Dive Bombers, escorts and Torpedo planes. At about 15-20 minutes into the attack you will get a recall from your TF to return and defend against enemy air attack.

BlackCat Strike - Rabaul Raid

2 Missions included - Runway and Sea take off. 21 February, 1943. Launch from Henderson at dusk to make a night torpedo and bombing raid on Japanese forces, marshalling at Rabaul. Several USN subs are on station to pick you up on the return leg if damaged and low on fuel. Expect heavy FLAK and losses.
