I have both Lanc and Wellington and they both get regular use... never regretted buying them. Are your Lancaster repaints available DaveQ? I don't mind the default Lanc paints but i'm sure yours would be an improvement. I've used my FSD P38 a lot more since I discovered your excellent paints for it. Roger what Lanc paint is that... Its not a default one is it? Matt

I was happy when I thought I was getting an E with an external J. The news of a fully developed S and the possibility of an external D... Hogs Heaven. I'm really glad Milviz made a payware beta available because it means I can enjoy a great model now... I would imagine it might be some time before we can get our hands on the S and D... lotta work in all that. Matt

Please do release it, even if its after release. Sorry I cant help with crew names. Personally it wouldn't bother me if the names are not included or fictitious. That particular paint looks real good of the F4. Matt

Understand Kat I bought the F4E beta ... and will no doubt buy the S when it becomes available. I am a little disappointed the J is taking so long to come along in the beta because I've seen how good it looks in the paint kit (and its no doubt even better now)... The short nosed Phantoms always had more appeal to me than the E... although I have to say it is growing on me. See if you can talk the Boss into expediting the inclusion of it into the Beta... I know I daren't ask:running: Matt

Kat You said the J model that comes with the E will not have a VC... I understand from that, it wont have a bespoke VC, but it will have the E cockpit installed... do I have that right? Just wanted to clarify that point. Matt

I do own a copy of Rise of Flight (The modelling is excellent ) but I didn't find it performed very well on my machine and I guess the bottom line is that I'm not looking for a fight simulator but a flight simulator... and I just love FSX. I think that is what motivated the FSX Camel and Sopwith Pup that Craig and I collaborated on. With stuff like the Just Flights SE5a, Robert Bruce's Brisfit, your Albatross Lucas and the upcoming Spad from Vertigo It seems at last the WW1 era aircraft are getting some appreciation from the FSX crowd. Axis aircraft are still a bit sparse... the only other one I can think of apart from your Albtaros is the Neoqbs Fokker Triplane(which is superb of course). An Albatros would be nice. The above mentioned Pfalz and Aviatik D1 are pretty good too... things...

I always thought the German Albatross III and DVa where very elegant looking aircraft. It would be great to see these in FSX native form. I found this... http://secure.simmarket.com/flyfreestd-albatros-d1-d2-d3-d5a-fsx.phtml I was a little bit disappointed with this as the wings don't have the thin under cambered wing section and the fuselage is a little bit approximate in shape. The use of materials is nice and it does perform well in FPS. The Pfalz and Aviatik Berg D1 models I was very pleased with however. http://secure.simmarket.com/flyfreestd-pfalz-d.iiia-d.xii-fsx.phtml http://secure.simmarket.com/flyfreestd-aviatik-berg-d.i_fsx.phtml

This seems a lot more believable Mal. I did have it doing 198 knots in a shallow dive at about 2000ft... props 22 percent, throttles at half power...which I'd struggle to get out of a Spitfire or Hurricane in FSX under the same circumstance... but youre the expert...maybe its a slippery shape with a lot more weight behind it. Thanks Mal I always thought the out of the box performance seemed a bit spritely for a bomber, so I look forward to giving this a try Matt
