Do that, Matt - Yeovilton used to be my regular aviation haunt - I love that place.
Years ago, your visit was almost certainly rewarded with the Sea Fury, Firefly or Swordfish on a check flight or all three departing for an airshow.
The museum was sensational - that's where I fell in love with the big American radial CATS!
Big, staunch, beautifully engineered, carrierworthy babies towering over the FA birds.
When I was at secondary school in Torquay during the early '70's, we'd get a Camberra flyover every Thursday as regular as clockwork (undersurfaces yellow/black diagonal stripes).
A REALLY extra treat would be the appearance of a Sea Vixen - man what a lorry of a crate!
