2 hours later and I've got a good start on my first travel trailer. I've always wanted to add some campgrounds in FSX... :mixedsmi: This sketchup thing is pretty addicting. Can't believe how late it is now... -_-zZ

This thread motivated me to download sketchup and follow a couple tutorials as well. It isn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Now to look into texturing... :icon_eek:

I sure hope OSH doesn't have 6-9 controllers, that would be a COMPLETE waste of tax dollars. There is zero commercial traffic there and not even that much GA traffic. Really the only thing at the airport nowadays is the aviation extension of Fox Valley Technical College and a couple manufacturers (Basler and I think there's another smaller company too). There's no reason besides Airventure to even have a control tower there. It absolutely baffles me that they spent the money to build a new tower. It may not be a popular opinion but I think EAA should have to pay for it. They are the only reason the tower exists to begin with. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Airventure moved out from Wittman Field and closer to a larger metropolitan area like it was before. I don't know if I am even going to go to Airventure this year. It is expensive and every year it gets less and less impressive. Fewer planes, more vendors (many not even aviation related), and overall staleness. I've been to it every year since I was like 6 or 7. Ever since 9/11 it just hasn't been the same.

Got to admit I was one of the people who wondered why on earth any developer would do this plane, let alone 2 developers. After seeing the price I had to give it a try, if only to support Sibwings. Sure glad I did! :jump: Can't wait to see the repaints for this one. I am hoping someone can do a winter camo scheme, even if it is fictional. I think the white/grey/black would look really good on it.

I would have been more excited about this one if the Majestic Dash 8 hadn't come out. I think that plane has ruined all other turboprops for me. It is truly outstanding. :applause:

I love the previously mentioned Basler. Make sure to find the high resolution gauges for it too. You'll want a better PT-6 soundset for it as well. I aliased it to another payware plane. Without much of a payload you can get it in and out of just about anywhere. She'll stop on a dime with reverse thrust. I like this plane a lot more than a good chunk of the payware I've bought. I am still hoping A2A will pick up the DC-3 someday. I say that about a lot of planes these days... :icon_lol:
