The other thing is where you hit the ship.If yoor torpedo hits the center of the ship it will pass through and do no damage.Watch how the AI planes attack and you will see they hit either the bow or stern.

For Korea I have used the FoxFour airbases and added a few of Xavier Korean and Japanese bases.Most of the FoxFour bases are setup for Jets.The Xavier bases are mostly used for prop planes and are basically dirt runways. I looked at what FoxFour had for bases and then added Xavier bases that wouldn't conflict with them. What is really needed is new airbases.

The big island is missing the nice 1ft imagery and even the 1-meter imagery from USGS....otherwise I would put it together for you guys... looks like only the S and SSE corner of the island is done. I attach the following from the USGS library.
