A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX American Aircraft Description: The Grumman J2F Duck (company designation G-15) was an American single-engine amphibious biplane. It was used by each major branch of the U.S. armed forces from the mid-1930s until just after World War II, primarily for utility and air-sea rescue duties. It was also used by the Argentine Navy, who took delivery of their first Duck in 1937. After the war, J2F Ducks saw service with independent civilian operators, as well as the armed forces of Colombia and Mexico. This is a work in progress and will always be WIP but it is comparable to the restoration of an antique auto in that it is not done but is an enjoyable drive to the car show. Unlike the first post of the Bad Duck this update is not passworded and is free to all. A new paint kit will be available to those who request it. I just posted the latest version of the "Bad Duck" here at SOH for those who wish to try it. It's still a WIP but a lot more has been done. There is no password so no donation requirement needed. You want the bad news first !? Alright. Unfortunately we have to make just a little money n order to be able to continue our work, justify our time, and above all, pay for the hardware and software ..... and so we have to charge a modest amount for our products. Although we DO also produce freeware from time to time. The good news? Simon has made an expansion pack for our Lockheed Hudson, now adding the MkIII in military and civilian versions AND the Lodestar Model 6 in civil and military liveries ! In the shop next week !
