Might as well get it over with -- VRS TacPack. And since there was a world of operators, a user friendly paint kit that doesn't require the latest Photoshop to use. :ernaehrung004:

Also, and maybe it was said above, but get one that is modular. Meaning only those wires actually going to a component get plugged in the power supply. That will make your cable management much easier. That keeps things tidy and improves air flow. :ernaehrung004:

I run 8.1 and it works just fine. I recently uninstalled FSX and reinstalled it to the root (E:/FSX) rather than under "Program Files (x86)". When I first built this system a year ago I did use the "Classic Shell" interface program (I'm not a fan of all the touch screen boxes) but took it off recently and have found that the Win8.1 "Desktop" view is just fine as is. :ernaehrung004:

Hi Warhorse, The PC-21 75th anniversary edition has a completely different model than the previous version of the PC-21, which is why the textures and previous paints no longer work with the new version. I hope that answers your question. In relation to the forum, I've not had any issue navigating it, and we've not made any changes to it as yet other than a database backup the other day. David.

I did guess #18 right even though I forget to write it down. :very_drunk: I think the gauges on #20 did come from the Alphasim MiG-23 though.

Zolt's were all for the Flylogic F-5E (at least those listed at flightsim.com). There are also several for the now freeware DSB version. To be honest, the Alphasim F-5E paint kit was a real pain in the ass so there very few if any repaints. :ernaehrung004:

Not that I'm aware of and I don't recall seeing that in Lamont's readme file. The code is open source so maybe someone could add the capability. :ernaehrung004:

Very nice. Great seeing some of those old airlines names and schemes. The Pilgrim Airlines one especially reminds my of the days when I was into propliners a lot more. Paul Conley painted one in those colors way back when. And there were many others. Good times for sure. :ernaehrung004:

In FS2004, depending on the material properties of an object on an aircraft, you could use an alpha channel in the texture to either increase the reflectivity of an object (from a light sheen to the extreme -- chrome) or you could use it to effect the opacity of an object (from adding a colored tint to glass or adding window holes in a fuselage side or completely removing external fuel tanks). Both worked great and both had their place in aircraft development. But with FSX it works differently when it comes to effecting the opacity. You can still effect canopy color but at the cost of clouds looking strange behind the glass. You can still completely remove things like external tanks and other items but the result is that you can then see through where they were. If you park an...

Don't hold your breathe waiting for an answer. But maybe this will help? There's really nothing to figure out. It is a new way to sell the product for a new platform (FSX-SE) and audience (Steam). If you know anything about Steam then you know that DLC or DownLoadable Content is how the most successful products are sold. Train Simulator is probably the best example. There are over 220 DLC items at a total cost of around $4700 that can be added to the core game. And rarely do folks stay with the basic game components. There are always new add-ons to be purchased. It's not that different from how we normally add to our own collections of payware aircraft and scenery. It is just delivered and installed by the Steam servers instead of downloading an installer file. There are many...

It's a completely new and different product to the old freeware T-6A. There's nothing from the T-6/A which will work on the T-6B and T-6C models.
