Sorry Duckie been super busy trying to fix a DAMNABLE PT CRUISER!!!! I take it back why jinx myself I love that car...maybe it will hear me LOL!!!! OK before you go to a more drastic step of water cooling the CPU make sure all your fans in front are pulling air IN and all your side fans and rear fans are pushing air OUT. It is difficult to pass Prime 95 in the summer time unless you use water cooling...it can be done but you are going to have a lot of front and rear fans moving air across the motherboard and CPU. The motherboard gets HOT too ya know so make sure there are no obstructions to the air coming in. The HEAVY CUMBERSOME TOWER CASE:dizzy: I have has 4 120 mm (pretty blue lites) front fans pulling air in...a GIANT LIT SIDE FAN pushing air out and 3 120mm (pretty red lites)...

Hi All, for aircraft textures you need to use DXT1 (with or without an alpha chanel) the other formats are all used for various textures within CFS3 such as effects, scenery etc. DXT1 = Aircraft, vehicles, ships, characters, terrain images etc (with or without an aplha channel) DXT3 = scenery objects such as rail road tracks, roads, gauge images with alpha applied, DXT5 = effects, bomb sight images,

Click on each cross-section spline in turn. If you select them out of order you'll finish up with a contorted, folded result: As you Attach each spline to the first one it will change to the same colour. Next add a CrossSection modifier and finally a Surface modifier: this is where many say urgh! and give up:

The data for this aircraft also gives the distance aft of the nose for each fuselage cross-section, but first I want to have all the splines' pivots on 0,0,0 and aligned to the Gmax world, so select Affect Pivot Only:-

I read about this years ago on Netwings: it's only really good when you have very high quality drawings or information, but I like to get the best 3-views and detail drawings I can for a model... Like Milton says, line up your drawings using the drawing's reference centre and the Gmax home grid:-

Looks great and somehow this pilot looks quite familiar :encouragement: Perhaps the weathering should be reduced a bit as the aircraft is much newer here than in the "orange markings" version. (just a thought). And NL2000 is indeed beautiful scenery and certainly the best value for money (free!) Cheers, Huub

That may be true in some cases Bjoern, but I doubt that Pat, the originator of the bump, had WANT WANT WANT on his mind. But thank you for shedding light on just why a bump may not be appropriate. Ted

Have you run cfs3config.exe? Give it time to report CFS3 is configured.

There's a possibility the model will then fall on its side. No, I'm not being flippant. I looked at the model's contact points in the FSX download from Alphasim/Virtavia free downloads and there is no difference in the left/right contact points, so it's a modelling issue imo. With some experimentation it might be possible to reduce the difference between the model's left and right wheel deflections but the model then might sit cockeye on the ground. Still, it might be fun for you to try: play around a little with both the left contact point height and the static deflection numbers and remember the numbers equate to sizes in feet, not meters.

A DVI->DVI connection should give better picture quality than VGA if you have that option.

Nice shot Arjan, especially the last one, very recognisable as this was THE spotters place for NAS Valkenburg. The greenhouses are still there, but they don't look as good as they look at you screenshot. The small road is still there and I cycle there several times every week. Cheers, Huub

In the recent past some people weren't able to find this thread anymore. As there currently isn't anything to report in this thread it might become become "invisible" for those who have selected just to look at last months threads. So personally I think its great free service from Pat. Its easier to ignore a thread you are not interested in than to read a thread you can't find. Just my personal opinion, Huub
