Let me think on how to simplify the process. The reason it is so complex is because of the different systems that use X-Plane...it accommodates all of them if you just figure how much your system can handle of X-Plane's versatility.

No, make the object the size it needs to be in-game before exporting.

I got into X-Plane at version 7 and was stunned by the flight dynamics compared to FSX and other sims, but the empty world was such a turn off. I only flew it just get a bit realism in my simming and then A2A came out with Accu-Sim and I went back to flying mainly FSX again. I came back when I saw X-Plane 10 and I love it...but it still bitc## to setup. But once you finally get it... it is WOW! Ted

It is the only true 64 bit simulator around right now, but I confess I fly FSX just as much on my antique.:O)

Make sure you also download the update as otherwise the repaints will have an issue with the cowlings. Cheers, Huub

You decide Jan...last time I was in the army no choices were offered unless the lesser choice was pure hell...like burning the **** detail in the bush (ya had to be there). Ickie knows! I would love the 2nd option!

One thing they stress is a video card with 4GB of ram...I don't even come close. The Nvidia 970 is looking mighty good right now...now accepting donations LOL!!! I have to admit to being surprised how well this old QX9650 and GTX 285 runs FSX and X-Plane 10.3.

Sorry to arrive this late, but personally I prefer the upper one. I think its easier for the eyes as the lower one just contains too much details. Cheers, Huub

Your global_layer folder is in ERA 4 if it does not contain these files. Here is an example of an ERA 1 and an ERA 4. The ETOEraSwapper should be fine, but have the ETOGLSwapper (in the global_layer) and MASTERETOSTARTUP .bat files been edited correctly to show the proper main folder location?

Nice movie, but definitely not from 1940. The US wasn't at war with Japan before December 1942 and the national marking on the aircraft show the movie must be made after 1943, because that was the year these markings were introduced. Cheers, Huub

Somethings very odd here! In your facilities folder remove the b_landing and g_landing files. If you have them remove the b_takeoff and g_takeoff as well. There may be files with the same name in the vehicles folder too, remove them as well. I'm guessing that they're spawning randomly in the campaign - something I've never come across. If that doesn't do it, you have ghosts in your install! :onthego: Cheers, Clive
