gera, I use the built in tile server in SBuilderX 3.13. Basically, once you set up a new project and the white screen comes up, make sure that FSX is up and running at the airport you want the photoimage for (SBuilder sincs with FSX to call the correct coordinates for the tile server that way). Now click on "view - show background", that will bring up the first tile server screen. . .now once again click "view - show aircraft", that will place a red crosshair on the screen (that's your exact position". Now zoom in until you have the airport to where it fills the screen but still has some extra area around it. . . .now go to "file - Add map", this will bring up a second screen with just that area in view. With your cursor, draw a box around the area that you want to save. . .to the right of that you'll see about 5 levels of resolution with buttons next to them. As you click on those buttons, you'll see that the number of tiles needed will increase. I have rarely been able to compile an image using the top setting, it's just too large to use, so I use the 3rd or 4th normally. Once you have it selected click "ok" (I think) and it'll start loading the tiles. When it's done, it'll say that you need to click ok one more time. . .do that (sometimes you'll get a message that says you need to hide the window and then open it back up and try again). . . .I've had to close that small window and then go back to file-add map several times before it loads the final map on the page. . .it can be finicky so keep at it. You might even have to change resolution if it just won't go.
