    I don't have your numbered skin but I think I see the same distortion effect with the stock model as well.

    My .bat looks like that but with way more instructions and some other cool things like START NOTEPAD.EXE Myobject_0.asm that will open the Myobject_0.asm for you. Than later on in the bat START GuidMaker START NOTEPAD.EXE Myobj.sca

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Scenery Add-Ons Description: Part of my continuing effort to inject some Crimson Skies flavor into CFS2. This pack has a Zeppelin wreck that comes in 3 parts. Nose, Center and Tail. All 3 are simple non LOD models and have no destroyed logic. The polycout should be low enough that LODs are not needed.Can be placed in any missions like any stock CFS2 infrastructure object by use of Mission Builder!     A damage texture set up is about the only good way that it could be done. First any part of the model that would have damage texture like the main body would have to be dual sided. The hard part is that texturing tube is a pain in the rear....

    Smoothing is lost with 3ds files. You will have to re-smooth the bomb. You will need to select the whole bomb and than go to the drop down Modifier List and select Smooth. Now check Auto Smooth. If the bomb dosn't look smooth enough below the Auto Smooth check box is Threshold:. Change the 30 to a larger number. Threshold: 50.0 looks good to me for the PuW 12kg bomb.

    How did you try to change the texture? You should have been able to go to Unwrap UVW and change the current maping. One thing of note. You can NOT use Unwrap UVW if you have selected multiple meshes. You can click on Edit.. and change the maping around but the changes won't save. Anytime you have selected multiple meshes the top right it will say Multiple Selected and any thing you apply to the multiple meshes will be in Italic Text. Single Mesh Selected

    gmax will let you chnage the texture mapping or chnage to a new texture. Can you try the texture change again if that dosn't work set me the file (.gmax) and I will try.

    Aircraft can't have damage models, just breaking parts and I can't think of a way to get breaking parts on a Zep that would work right. The Zep Wreck will have to stay as Scenery. Right now I have the Turret Truck set up like Crimson Skies with only one gun.

    I sent Blood Hawk a set up for mdlc_190_weap that is designed for weapons made in gMax at same scale as the aircraft or real world scale. I do not know if this will work with .bgls made in FSDS but it should as long as the weapon is at real world scale. Download the Allen_Make_Weap.zip and copy the 5 files into the mdlc_190_weap folder than. 1# Once you have made your Weapon in gmax export as a Flightsim BGL File (*.BGL) with the name my_weap. 2# Move or Copy and Paste the my_weap.bgl to w_mdlc folder that is inside of the mdlc_190_weap folder.

    Now I have a handle on objects back to Crimson Skies! Its not much but a start! The Zep Wreck comes in 3 parts. Nose Center and Tail. In the screen I used the Nose, 3 Centers and the Tail. The Turret Truck is made from the CFS2 Deuce and Half.

    Love the MS sidewinder Precision 2. I know the tact switch go bad. Mostly the triggers and the 4 tacts that make "hat" switch. When my tact switchs go bad I plan to raid a radio shack and buy some replacement tact switchs. I have a Logitech but it takes way to much force to move the stick around for my taste.

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - Russian Description: Design in 1934 the G-38 / LK-2 "Legkiy Kreiser" (light cruiser) was to be a multi-role aircraft made of mostly wood and powered by Two Tumansky M-85 (Gnome-Rhöne-Mistral-Mashor K-14) with a top speed of 520 to 550 KPH. By the end of 1936 the G-38 hadn't been completed and Grokhovsky's Special Construction & Industrial Burea was closed. Fully animated parts, Breaking parts plus damage texture logics as well. Model is Multi LOD with working virtual cockpit. Skin template is included in the texture folder for your painting pleasure. You will need a program that can read .PSD to use them.     I've only used the pilot in the VC once. How much of the pilot should be seen exterior view depinds on how much of he/she would be visable from the out side.

    If you have everything to export FS2002 bgls from gMax than things are easy. You can do your resize in gMax and just about any thing else you want to do as well.

    When I tried to make my Russian FAB-50 I made to to real world scale. However w_mdlc.bll has a place for weapon scale. This is done so if you want you can make a very detailed weapon that is 5x larger in gMax and use the w_mdlc.bll scale setting to shrink it back to real world size in CFS2. mdlc 190 weap has a info page on how to set up the w_mdlc.bll but using the setting it say if the weapon is at real world scale didn't work. I had a micro-tiny bomb. Model Converter X doesn’t have a FS2002 BGL export option. If you don't have the FS2002 gMax game pack what you can do is find the FS2002 MakeMDL program that is legal. http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=123 Download and install it. Now in Model Converter X hit Export and save your bomb as "FSX object X file" The FS2002 MakeMDL program can use FSX object X file just fine. Fire up FS2002 MakeMDL and load your bomb X file in the Input file and select the Model Type "Scenery". Click “Start”

    The bgl that gMax makes is not the same format as the .bgl weapons use. You need to have the FS2002 gMax make mdl and mdlc 190 weap http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=49&linkid=6220 The one thing I have yet to under stand is how to get the weapon to be scaled right. The weapon I make are way under sized.

    stuart277 You can export the model using the FS2004 gMax gamepack as a Flightsim Aircraft Object than use MK MDCL to convert it to CFS2. If you use the FS2002 gMax gamepack you still have to use MK MDCL to convert it to CFS2.

    You didn't answer my question in my first reply. I asked what is it you're trying to achieve? Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, how else do you distinguish between the flight dynamics of the two aircraft? What's the difference in your view?
