Won't do me any good. The only thing I took from the F6F Hellcat was the exhast smoke. The rest is edit of the stock F4F4 Wilcat.

Here it is ingame. I had to drop the smoothing from 60 to 30 as 60 was causing bad lighting effects along the fuselage at each cut in the fuselage for the breaking parts and damage texture.

Crazy/great minds think alike. I liberated the smoke from the Hellcat texture and a ton of copy and paste to make blank texture. EDIT: Tri-Color pic attached. Darn dose it look like a Hellcat dosen't it?

Well here is the engine. I think this is right but I'm not too sure. Also I need some one to make a texture for this thing... I can put tyhe model up for those that want to have a try at the texture.

Some work on the tail. Thanks to the taper of the tall and the lay out of the stablelizer on the texture sheet.

I have several suggestions for what you could do on GMAX... like an improved P-47D-25, an update for the N1K2-J 'George', a P-51B converted from a Patrick Didier model, and a Ki-84 Hayate 'Frank' also converted from a model made by the aforementioned person to name a few. Will those ideas work?

That sucks. There is almost no room on the stock F4F4 texture to make the tail taller. It runs right into the Vert stablelizer. The texture has room for a taller rudder.

Since I may be looking for something to do in gMax... I know that the FM-2 tail was made taller to help with the torque but I'm not sure if just the rudder was made taller or was the whole tail and rudder made taller vs the basic F4F4?

The one thing to try is to make a larger prop disc texture. The stock and OH uses prop disc textures that are 256x256. Going to 512x512 may let you have more detail with the alpha.

Downloaded the pack from http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?69564-VN-Illustrious-redo-UT-zip Worked fine out of the box. The code you posted work fine after I changed sim=VN_HMS Indomitable45 to sim=VN_HMS_Indomitable45. Worked fine with and with out the "_" I'm attaching the ship and screen.

takeoff_start=Left or right in meters, vertical not used, Forward/Backwards in meters. Also nothing is wrong with the data. I sit just fine with out falling into the water with it. IF your sitting too low (inside the model) edit the middel number in all of the vertex.#. vertex.# are in meters as well.

Well I just checked. takeoff_start= //From center of model. Lateral (m) *use - for left*, vertical (m) *no longer used?*, longitudinal (m) *use - for Aft* If your still in the water it might be a prob with . The vertical in takeoff_start= lookes to be no longer used and vertical is now set by being on the or if your not staring on a . you will be set in the water.

takeoff_start= sets starting point on the ship. Try making the -70 smaller to somthing like -50 and try again.

What planes are they for? Don't forget to mention the person or company who made them.

I wasn't aware that cfs3 model could be converted. Last time I looked nothing could read them other than CFS3.

Try the flight dynamics of these models. Use them to replace what you have.

You didn't answer my question in my first reply. I asked what is it you're trying to achieve? Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, how else do you distinguish between the flight dynamics of the two aircraft? What's the difference in your view?

You'll have to be more specific. Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, what other characteristics distinguished the flight dynamics of a Ta-152 from that of the Fw-190?

Airfiles are not my department I guess. Sorry. When I cant find an AIR file for a similar AC, I usually ask Bearcat241 for assistance. He's an expert.
