I started on the Hurricane. I'm using Sopwith Chameleon's texture for mauro´s Hurricane. It is Patrick DIDIER CFS1 Hurricane model.

I have Patrick DIDIER CFS1 Hurricane model that looks good for being from FS98/CFS1 but need a texture baddly. If I can fund somthing that is FS2000/CFS2 that had a okay to good texture that is not a polygon hog that would be better.

No need for the Spitfires or Bf109s. The Bf109g is done (this thread) The Bf109e I only need to do the damage texture and edit the Bf109g ReadMe to say Bf109e. The 2 Spitfiles I have to add LOD 10 to the models, ReadMes than pack them up into ZIPs. I looked at Thicko's Do17 model and it is way too high in polygon count, even to be edited. So I'm going to guess his Hurricane will be a high polygon count too.

The B-25j, Tempest, Mosquito,V1 are low priority. The Tempest is used for "Defend Watten V weapon site" along with the Spit Mk.IX as the escort during the mission. The Allied version "Flatten Watten V weapon site" of this mission has the player flying P-47s with P-51s escorting. "Diver Down" is a MS add-on on mission that has the player flying the Tempest after you take the panel, sound and .air file from the Spit Mk.IX and dump them into the Tempest so you can make it player flyable. V1 is seen in single mission "Swatting doodlebugs" and "Diver Down" MS add-on on mission. B-25j is seen in single mission "Bomber Collision" Have not found a stock CFS1 mission that uses the Mosquito. Checked both campaigns or single missions. Also must add the Bf 110 to the to do list

All of the work I did for the C-47/R4D was pack into the OH C-47 when the whole Library had to be re-uploaded. You can get it all here. I know the upload date says July 27th, 2006 but it includes all of the later updates The B24 Guy did and my own. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links_search.php?action=show&userid=105&sort=d

After some looking around it looks like you can use SketchUp to save a .KMZ. Model Converter X can load .KMZ files. Use Model Converter X to save a .3ds that can be loaded into gMax.

Well found a Spitfire. The old AlphaSim Spitfire Mk.IIX/Mk.IX was in qute good shape but a little polygon heavy at 8000. A quite diet later it was all good but for the lack of LODs. LODs wasn't too hard as I was able to raid from the CFS1 libray.bgl that had the ground object Spitfire Mk.I. I was able to use it for LOD 50 and LOD 25. I also converted it to be the MK.I.

Roxane-21 The Mk.IX could be used as player aircraft for the last mission of the US campaign. The Mk.IX didn't come on line tell 1942 and the Brit campaign ended by late 1940 early 1941. Bf109e and B-17g .... I'm going to TRY to mod this Bf109g I to be the Bf109e. I know it will be nothing but a pain in the rear. I know the fuse need to be 1.3 feet shorter and that will mess up all of the texture mapping. changeing the wings will be even more work. The B-17g is being a hard egg to crack. Much like the Bf109s I can't find a model to work from but unlike the 109s I can't find a texture and I can't texture my way out of a wet paper bag. I'm using the stock CFS2 C-47 model. The P-38J will use the basic brown texture I already did for my J model.

Mission Builder can be used to edit the Global Scenery Layer (GSL folder/cfs2.gsl) It looks like the GSL code objects by name (inf_barracksc, inf_water_towera, inf_tents_round, etc) I'm 99% sure that Scenery library object not found is from a BGL. Your looking for somthing placed by a BGL that can NOT be destroyed. What I can try to do is. Can you give me the whole list of numbers (Ox00000013, Ox4c65726f .etc.). I should be able to make a bgl that will use the ID numbers you gave me that will get rid of of the error.

I wasn't aware that cfs3 model could be converted. Last time I looked nothing could read them other than CFS3.

Try the flight dynamics of these models. Use them to replace what you have.

You didn't answer my question in my first reply. I asked what is it you're trying to achieve? Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, how else do you distinguish between the flight dynamics of the two aircraft? What's the difference in your view?

You'll have to be more specific. Besides the Ta-152 having a higher service ceiling, what other characteristics distinguished the flight dynamics of a Ta-152 from that of the Fw-190?

Airfiles are not my department I guess. Sorry. When I cant find an AIR file for a similar AC, I usually ask Bearcat241 for assistance. He's an expert.
