Didn't he get a "Tail-wind" nickname in the RAF as a result?

in 1997 when we all got together when we were called combatfs . com I had a 250 processor to run cfs-1 then in 1998 I got a wow 350 and could run everything all turned up in cfs-1. I also remember online flying and had to wait in line for a room to open. in 1999 I got my first server and it was a 450 Unix, lol it drove me nuts, and canelo in 2001 talked me into a 550, for awhile we had 2 servers to run this site and downloads. This was back in the day of planes to download were 1/2 MB. Boy have we come far and to look at what is coming in processors the sky is our limit. We need MS to keep a promise come true with a new flight sim like realism.:encouragement:

And the government insisted the company with least experience of supersonic aircraft should be in charge of the rest! :dizzy: :dizzy: :mixed-smiley-027: A magnificent aircraft if you've seen the real thing (RAF Museum Cosford has one) and an FSX version would be very appealing.

I don't think Central auto-updates without option, so don't let it. Or turn the auto bit off before it completes any update download.

Old joke: He looks mighty tall in the saddle. That's because he's on a horse, mate! If you get the chance to watch Peter Teichman display any of his aircraft, take it. He's a fine pilot.

The flight models are a bit less than 1% though, I want to know how to pull those high G snap loops. Good film though!

Yep, 25lb solid warheads on these rockets: dumb as a housebrick so I doubt the Scimitar used them. and the Beaufighter is using Bristol Hercules radials, not Merlins. The flame suppressing exhaust is something like this:

On closer inspection, that's a flame-suppression exhaust extension, not Merlin stubs at top right. So back to more usual Beaus for an explanation. I did wonder why a Merlin would still need the wing air intake!

These rockets may have solid warheads and are slung below a Beaufighter - a Merlin-engined variant at that. Solid warheads were used on shipping strikes, aimed to strike below the waterline, and were reckoned as destructive that way as HE heads. There's an example on display at RAF Hendon, under their Beaufighter. Alternately, they may be AP rounds. You can clearly see warheads lying on the ground, ready to be screwed on to the rocket bodies.

Editable Poly was a new feature when Gmax was newly released: Gmax mostly "thinks" in Editable Mesh. I also found the video driver had an impact: XP preferred the OpenGL whereas Win 7 was happier with Direct3D.

Some distributors are offloading their stock of boxed add-ons so they're going cheap. Seems a good enough reason to me.
