Jagdflieger, Thanks! :redface: Considering the quality of your work over the years, I consider that extremely high praise. :salute: I'm come to really appreciate the things you can do with Xavierb's piers in tight spaces, where elevation away from the coast rises quickly. While wolfi's large piers are great for flat spaces with few curves, they just don't offer the same flexibility. You can also create different pier formations and all other kinds of neat tricks!

Mario, I completed the second mission tonight, but I'm too tired to re-write the mission text. The mission is a second reconnoitre, this time from a German Ju-88 based on Sardinia...higher up at 5,500 meters. After this mission, you will participate in an evening torpedo run onboard a Heinkel He-111.

I'm behind the power curve when it comes to new movies (usually am), but I do want to see Iron Man 3 as I enjoyed the first two episodes. Perhaps this weekend I'll drag the wife to the theater to see it. The two most recent movies that I've seen were "Hansel und Grettle" and the latest rendition of the "Wizard of Oz." I enjoyed both of those and I wish I could have seen Hansel und Grettle in 3d. It was really a fun movie.

Jinx, The props will generate two times as much thrust, making for a better climb rate, increased takeoff performance, and a higher top speed. The downside? Your range will be chopped by half.

No puedo decir que voy a trabajar en este proyecto a una velocidad vertiginosa, pero la operación Mezzagosto está en marcha, y estoy usando las misiones pedestal como una base para "dar la vuelta" y convertirlos en misiones Axis-temáticas. La primera es una Vichy reconnoitre francesa del convoy justo después de entrar en el Mediterráneo ... Yo no quiero darte algo demasiado difícil para empezar, ¿sabes? In English... I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about doing the Axis side to Pedestal. I can't say I will work on this project at breakneck speed, but Operation Mezzagosto is underway, and I am using the Pedestal missions as a base to "flip" them and turn them into Axis-themed missions. The first is a Vichy French reconnoitre of the convoy just after it enters the Mediterranean...I didn't want to give you something too difficult to start, you know? "title_string" = Funcionamiento Mezzagosto - Intrus dans la Méditerranée! "summary_string" = Ecoutez, les pilotes français! Un enorme convoy aliado ha entrado en el Mediterráneo, y es nuestra tarea para analizar la composición de este convoy y pasar la información a nuestros amigos alemanes e italiano cerca de Cerdeña y Sicilia. El convoy no está a su alcance por el momento. Las operaciones de combate pueden depender de la inteligencia, así que vamos a conseguir es correcta la primera vez!

Jinx, Sure, but in what context? Are you talking about in Mission Builder, or actual flight characteristics? If it's the latter, the quick and dirty way is to increase the thrust and engine scalars in the .cfg file above 1.0. Otherwise, it can be done by modifying data entries such as empty weight, manifold pressure, horsepower, compression ratio, cylinder displacement, and number of cylinders in the engine.

Kdriver, I totally forgot this one; in the Beaus in the Sand campaign best test, Pen32Win gave me a set of revised .dp files to tone down the accuracy and lethality of the ships. I forgot to include it for the Western Desert campaigns. Oops!

Mark, Is this what you had in mind? Send me a PM with your e-mail addy and I'll send you the GSL file, which includes Achim's Reykjavik, as well as the harbor ship and AA layout, as well as a test mission. I don't want to release it publicly just yet, until Achim releases his revised Norwegian and Icelandic airfields.

Mark, Here are some pics of the layout for the harbor. It includes a breakwater connecting a barrier island to the mainland, as well as a breakwater to protect the harbor. I also included a forested island with a lighthouse, and piers of varying sizes with warehouses, access ramps, and plenty of space for shipping, even for the biggest vessels. Now I have to do the support facilities, including warehouses and such, but we're getting there. Edit: Safari won't let me attach the pictures, but I'll include them when I return home.

Thanks for looking Daveroo. I've come up empty with my searches, not that my search skills are very good. It was a fun movie with neat endings for an often misunderstood cat that was the hero of the film. While it sounds like it was a kid's film, it was aimed at adults.

Brad, Thanks for that kind offer. Whenever I drive by Boise airport/Gowen Field (on Interstate 84), I'm all eyes looking for the Idaho ANG planes landing or taking off. Sadly their current paint jobs are not nearly as nice or gaudy as the Scorpion's livery. Speaking of cats, does anyone remember the 1980s movie titled something like: "A Cat's Tale"? It was a compilation of three vignettes involving a cat and his adventures. If you do, what was the exact name? I'd like to find it and see it again.
