Man....if you were at Schiphol, you should have slipped over to the Aviation Megastore. I visited there about this time of the year in 2012, and LOVED the place! I think I spent about $500 on books and had them shipped home.... Kent

The three Lear 24B schemes look great. The NASA scheme is very convincing. :ernaehrung004:

...no Carenado PC-12 in time for the weekend, apparently. I am REALLY looking forward to that release. I'd be looking forward to it more if MilViz were doing it....but oh well...we need a new PC-12, and the Carenado screen shots look stunning! Kent

The following was posted by Bill who made this Lear 24B on his Lionheart Creations facebook page. The bit about the Lear not having an Avionics on/off switch is the best reason for doing it the right way, not the easy or "worked for me before" way described elsewhere. :ernaehrung004:

You and I are the same age (I'm a tad older at 53), and I LOVED Robb White books (though I went in the AF for 29 years vs. the Navy). Especially liked Flight Deck and Silent Ship, Silent Sea. Wonderful books that could be had from the Scholastic Book Club when I was in elementary school. Somehow, I suspect these types of books are not being offered to today's generation of young 'uns-- Americans were portrayed in those books as the "good guys", and unfortunately, that concept appears politically incorrect these days...again-- GREAT books and a GREAT author! I painted the two A-4F schemes in the Virtavia A-4 package but they used the common gear textures so I never had to know. What you might do is what I do when I don't know where something goes. Paint that texture you're referring to with something bright like orange or pink and see where it shows up. :ernaehrung004:

Two things come to mind. First, why do people keep dragging up old posts to start a new conversation. And second, why can't the moderators see this happening and split the thread? This is happening more and more here over the past year. OK, shaking my head and going back to my corner. :ernaehrung004:
