    The .NET version works well with FSX-Steam Edition. I couldn't get the original to work with it but still use that one for FSX and P3D. :ernaehrung004:

    Sorry, real world has been a distraction lately. And yea, I use MCX the same way. Much quicker than relaunching the sim over and over. When I first typed I had forgotten that Mark made the deck candy as separate MDLs. I thought someone had chipped away at the carrier to get the deck candy for use elsewhere. Took my chill pill so all is good now. :running: I saw some discussion on the SeaSprite. Alphasim, er Virtavia, made a nice one. We're also going to include the type on one of the Vietnam era Enterprise's as parked/folded on deck and as flying plane guard. Basic overall blue so not very interesting but will make a nice change from the SeaKing for one of the versions. :ernaehrung004:

    Keep in mind that just because something is now freeware doesn't mean it is wide open for reverse engineering when the end results will be made public. I (via Team SDB) have permission to do things with the Iris MiG-29 because I asked. I would encourage you do the same; get permission and then give credit. :ernaehrung004:

    It is good that we are all entitled to our own opinion. :untroubled: I have been using a multi-screen setup for the past 8 years and would not want to go back to a single screen, no matter how big. Again each their own. Thank goodness we are not all the same :encouragement:

    Thanks for the feedback. Now I am really starting to get the urge to just go ahead and upgrade. Might wait two more weeks though, as I got a long weekend all by myself coming up, and I want to spend it flying, not tweaking after upgrading. I am sure I will run into some unexpected glitches getting everything work over the network again.

    And realism is what makes developments stand out from the pack. Even with things as simple as the direction of the levers. It would take away a lot of the fun flying different aircraft if they would all work the same. You could always add a little "Note" in the readme file relating to the mixture lever. Oh sorry, how dumb of me...who ever RTFM, or even a readme file. Us men always think we already know it all :mixed-smiley-027:

    Why not add two more 22" monitors, and create a wideview setup. Your graphics card can handle it easily. Even 3 monitors in wideview, and one below it for the gauges is no problem for that card,

    Maybe articles/books from Captain Mike Ray are of interest to you. All his work is written with a sense of humor, making it fun to read. (be aware, thy can become addictive, :victorious:) I have all his articles, and several book, and I keep coming back to them frequently.     I really like that top image. You've done a really nice job of conveying that it wasn't just skinned with one piece of aluminum. You've got slight variations in adjacent panels which is spot on. A little less reflection though as you mentioned. That's not easy to do with metal in FS and not make it just look like shades of gray paint. People like the special schemes (so do I sometimes) and I did several for the original FS9 release with David adding even more for the FSX remake, but there's something really nice about a plain jane "let's-get-the-job-done-and-try-to-make-it-home" scheme. Very pleased to see this bird getting continued attention. :ernaehrung004:

    Thanks for the feedback Larry, I used to use FSCoPilot for multiplayer sessions, but the server we used has recently been taken down. That's why I have started doing the direct connect. I will certainly have a look into FS Host.

    Overclocking a 970 ore above for FSX?? That somehow doesn't make sense to me. For FSX scenery the amount of memory on the graphics card is more important. A 970 or 980 is already so fast, that I would not bother overclocking those cards. And I must say that the factory overclocked versions can not be beat.
