I was about thinking the same thing. I am not so much in to warbirds, but this one surely got my attention.

I did guess #18 right even though I forget to write it down. :very_drunk: I think the gauges on #20 did come from the Alphasim MiG-23 though.

Zolt's were all for the Flylogic F-5E (at least those listed at There are also several for the now freeware DSB version. To be honest, the Alphasim F-5E paint kit was a real pain in the ass so there very few if any repaints. :ernaehrung004:

Awesome work, as always, Eurostar! Question: Is "Uncle Miltie's" C-1A still on your "to-do" list for FSX conversion? Thanks, Kent

Not that I'm aware of and I don't recall seeing that in Lamont's readme file. The code is open source so maybe someone could add the capability. :ernaehrung004:

Very nice. Great seeing some of those old airlines names and schemes. The Pilgrim Airlines one especially reminds my of the days when I was into propliners a lot more. Paul Conley painted one in those colors way back when. And there were many others. Good times for sure. :ernaehrung004:

Love this old warbird. I love the way Roy's rendition flies, and sounds. Did a multiplayer flight with 8 or 9 of them a few years ago, and had a blast. Can't imagine the mass take off and landings during the war.

In FS2004, depending on the material properties of an object on an aircraft, you could use an alpha channel in the texture to either increase the reflectivity of an object (from a light sheen to the extreme -- chrome) or you could use it to effect the opacity of an object (from adding a colored tint to glass or adding window holes in a fuselage side or completely removing external fuel tanks). Both worked great and both had their place in aircraft development. But with FSX it works differently when it comes to effecting the opacity. You can still effect canopy color but at the cost of clouds looking strange behind the glass. You can still completely remove things like external tanks and other items but the result is that you can then see through where they were. If you park an...

Don't hold your breathe waiting for an answer. But maybe this will help? There's really nothing to figure out. It is a new way to sell the product for a new platform (FSX-SE) and audience (Steam). If you know anything about Steam then you know that DLC or DownLoadable Content is how the most successful products are sold. Train Simulator is probably the best example. There are over 220 DLC items at a total cost of around $4700 that can be added to the core game. And rarely do folks stay with the basic game components. There are always new add-ons to be purchased. It's not that different from how we normally add to our own collections of payware aircraft and scenery. It is just delivered and installed by the Steam servers instead of downloading an installer file. There are many...

Might this be the meaning of DLC? Downloadable content (DLC) is additional content created for a released product It is distributed through the Internet by the official publisher. New description of a "Livery Pack"???

I'm sure there is a lot of work to be done to repopulate the downloads section. If it is a link for something else, try google. :ernaehrung004:

The deck eye candy on the Big-E do have shadows. Same with the original FS9 version. If we were to do an NAS scenery using those aircraft again they would have shadows as well -- it is built in to the model. Might look weird if there was a mix of them and AI's not casting shadows though. :ernaehrung004:

Top Gear will be back and Jeremy Clarkson will be in the cast. He is necessary to the show and it is one of BBC ("America" at least) most popular shows. :ernaehrung004:
