Yes, Kelly, the gorgeous face of a MG-TD. Used to be the proud owner of one many years ago and hope to be once again sooner or later. (also because a DC-3 is out of the question. Although it doesn't fly next best thing if you ask me. :teapot: cheers, Jan

Sure you can, Dave. But why not hook up a trailer and earn some money while you drive from point A to point B ? The whole point of the game is earning money so you can buy this one big and powerful truck that you have set your mind on in one of the truckdealers showrooms. Just driving your truck without a trailer, aka job, from point A to point B is a bit, well... pointless... :) In this case it differs very much from FSX and, if you ask me, is just what makes it great to have next to FSX. Trust me, once you have the game installed and done your first job ( very easy, just click on get hired by a company and everything will be arranged, you just have to pick up your trailer from point A and drive to point B ) you'll see that 'free roam' in this particular game isn't that...

Yep, next to doing your job it's great fun to dress up your truck with all kinds of mods and skins. Still, i never got this one Scania mod i was particularly interested in working properly. It's the so called 'Low Rider', looks great with the bottom front almost touching the tarmac. They have taken great care of the way to add mods, you can just click them on and off in a listing. You can find it in your profile ( wijzigen/ change ) Sure, and of course something can be done about that... :) Did you loan as much money as you're allowed to from your bank ? There's a way to pay it back all at once so you don't see the bank taking back a large cut of your hard earned cash anymore with each trip you make. And that's just for starters... The downside of course is the chance to...

Envy you ! :encouragement: I'm all done. Got 10 million in the bank, 30 garages, 150 trucks with 150 drivers. Has been tremendous fun to get there ! A zillion of mods here : and here :

Patience is good. Patience is a virtue. Practise you must, my young padawan... Furthermore i'd like say that, next to P3D v.2, i now have the VVC model working in FSX and P3D v1.4 too. Quite a bumpy road initially but master Lionheart pulled me thru eventually ( thanks again Bill ! :encouragement: ), very happy with that so normal work can continue, aka texturing and animating. Tedious work but has to be done and remember, the devil is in the details.. With great anticipation i am awaiting Hansi's gauge faceplates and coding so i can start filling up the panel with working gauges. Getting the base VVC model going and showing you some screenshots of it was only the first part. Still a long road ahead so i think it might be wise to ask the moderators to unstick this thread. Once i...

Wow!! Well done, mate ! :applause: Thanks so much, can't wait to step into the virtual flying boots of the Mad Boiler Man ! Do feel the need to finish up the more or less matching VC first though. One thing that i find remarkable with the 'Airline' series, and as opposed to f.i. the dutch movie 'Dakota' by Wim Verstappen and Pim de La Parra and with dutch actor Kees Brusse acting as the pilot, is that numerous great shots of G-AGHY and G-AGIV from outside are featured but just about nil from the inside. While you get great views of the cockpit (even flying on autopilot when Kees gets some sleep in the cabin during his long solo flight over the ocean from Surinam to Holland) all the time in the 'Dakota' movie, just about all shots from inside the 'Airline' Daks are only focussed on...

Help! If I change something in a aircraft.cfg it has no effect! I can bring it out to the desktop to change it (not allowed in program files!), but after putting it back the old .cfg file seems to still be valid! What is happening here??? Cees

    Hey Jan,

You guys have been quiet as of late; still waiting on the updated flight dynamics from Rob Young before releasing the updated 2004 sabre?

I hope all of your work with MAAMsim is going well, and that you are having fun with your new gaming machine.

We continue to enjoy the F-86 in FSX very much; we never get tired of it. We look forward to the day that you run the model through the FSX SDK to compile a native FSX model.

    Wishing you the very best,

    Chris Eells

Hey Jan, what ever happened to the N3-N? I have been patiently waiting for it. It was good rugged ship, better than the Stearman.
