I wouldn't be interested in that line of work. I'm only interested in certain types of aircraft that I enjoy. Right now my favorite GA bird is A2A C182 for scooting around P3Dv2. My next step in the evolutions is modeling. My inspiration comes from Witold Jaworski and others at http://www.military-meshes.com/forum/forum.php

Exactly right. What GE is asking is if the current repaints will work with the new bumps I'm doing and those will not match up with mine. :adoration:

As you guys can see I love detail and it's so much easier in FSX/F3Dv2 with PS CS5! Some areas of the model leaves me to fudge some stuff so it's not total accurate, but looks good. Depending on the quality of the canvas brings out perfection one can achieve! :adoration: Here's a look at the tail cone and rudder has stitches and tap applied. Look closely the tape is there. Now the rudder needs some hinges and a plate for the brace above the 0. Blue needs to more transparent to see the stitches.

Color is not the problem, its the default rivet pattern used. Those need to be removed from any repaint. Current they clash with new bump maps.

The pattern I used is different and will not match up with what the current default and repaints. I have not been able to find that pattern used on the current paints on any pictures and drawings. I tried to make it accurate as possible within the framework of the model.

A while ago i had good hope for a first beta by the end of this month but i'm afraid that's not going to happen. Gauge animations f.i. take up much more time as initially expected. Have to say not only once because of my own stupidity... :mixed-smiley-027: ( i could tell you some striking examples but then you'd loose all confidence in me. Maybe later once the beta is up and running.. :teapot: ) It is also true that work on the VVC has been on the back burner for a few weeks due to 'real life' circumstances. Anyway, back at full throttle to get those pesky needles and levers to behave, cockpit itself is nearly finished, closed up all around with faint reflective glass and moving side and windscreen windows. Radios still to do. That's all for now, folks. I'll be back with flying...

Maybe it's already been done (don't know) - but imagine invoking a tanker using the interface/variables that AI carriers has - where you pick a tanker from a list, and it spawns at a given height/speed ... Probably been done somewhere/somehow - but I've never seen it. cheers, dl

My first adventure in how to paint an FSX bird with all these crazy bumps and specs stuff, which by the way haven't touched the specs stuff yet. This is one of my favorite birds and a perfect one for me to experiment on. Lots of work and more work to do. Thanks to AH for bring this bird to FSX/P3Dv2! :encouragement:

I'm curious as to any AMD card users using Steve's DX10 fixer... how's that working? I could never get that to work properly.

Quick and dirty stitches and tape on a couple of wing spars... further work needed. Maybe narrow the tape a bit.

    Hey Jan,

You guys have been quiet as of late; still waiting on the updated flight dynamics from Rob Young before releasing the updated 2004 sabre?

I hope all of your work with MAAMsim is going well, and that you are having fun with your new gaming machine.

We continue to enjoy the F-86 in FSX very much; we never get tired of it. We look forward to the day that you run the model through the FSX SDK to compile a native FSX model.

    Wishing you the very best,

    Chris Eells

Don't you just love ole Snave? LOL He is already on very thin ice ... must be Brit humour. LOL

Hey Jan, what ever happened to the N3-N? I have been patiently waiting for it. It was good rugged ship, better than the Stearman.

    Hey Jarvis
Since soh is a bit broken, wondering how close the F86 is close to release?
Looking forward to seeing it roll out...
    Thanks in advance
