Hoi Rob, Good to hear the DC-2 still going strong ! ( btw, how's Alex ?...) And congrats with your 2CV ! ( don't wanna upset you but if it purrs like a kitten there's something wrong, mate..... IIRC it should quack like a duck! :biggrin-new: ) Pity no more Gmax work, Rob... I'm actually soooo happy to be back. Maybe you need a sabbatical too, right ? Worked for me! (although not intentional :teapot:) Groeten, Jan

Ok! Thanks, guys, that's what i wanted to hear. :encouragement: Bit of both then, éh ? The MAAM R4D has these individual gauge light boxes too and i kinda grew fond of them. (can you grow fond of simple small thing like a gauge lighting box ??.... Yes, i can !!... :teapot: ) IIRC they didn't actually work in the VC of the R4D model but we could possibly make them work here. Could be added just to a specific C-47 model and left out of a DC-3 model or make it an option all together. Re the repetition, good point. It was just by impulse that i added them (stumbled over a photo of a C-47 cockpit that has them) so it was all done in the spur of a moment. I may have been a bit too enthousiastic about the sharpness of the texture. Point taken ! Btw, if you happen to fly the Connie...

Holy Moly Teddy Boy!! I'd install this model just for the sound already ! Fantastic job !! :applause: In fact i did install it a couple days ago via your links (i do love these 'in between' propfighters too!) but the sounds are nothing like i hear in your F3F vids... Also i have only half a prop image from within the VC because of the 'ghost panel' blocking off the lower half (as are the lower parts of the two wires close to the fuselage). Your spinning prop image is just about visible so the missing lower half isn't that noticeable. I see you fixed the double gauge images already too. It's still a lovely model despite its old age (great job, Barry ! :encouragement:) the VC is a bit spartanish of course but the flightmodel really needs a overhaul. It'll do an outside loop without...

Yes, really love that ! I just thought that with earlier Pcars versions we could view a car model in the garage from any point we'd like by shoving the mouse around.... Maybe i'm mistaken..... I have to reinstall AC too one of these days. As a vivid user of both Pcars and AC which do you actually prefer, Ferry ? Fantastic, isn't it ! Well, it all looks and sounds really breathtaking. Just would've loved a bit more older cars ( also 'older' looking, IMHO i think sometimes they go too far with reflection mapping, makes some cars look a bit plasticky ) I haven't been able to induce some rain, isn't that implemented yet ?

Thanks, Ferry, got it ! :encouragement: Oh, my gawd!! They ruined my beloved Lotus 49 by adding a modern driver/helmet !! :dizzy: Atleast that's what i thought with a first trial.... Luckily i noticed later that they've kept original driver too. ;-)

Thanks, Ferry ! I believe there's like no Ferrari what so ever in Pcars, is it ??... Do you maybe happen to know anything why that is ? I haven't come round installing Pcars on my new rig yet. What do you think, go to the site and download/install or wait for the final to be released ? As 'crowdfunders' do we actually get the final for free ? Thanks!

Any more classic 1960's F1 cars besides the Lotus 49 ??...... Great shots, Ferry ! Can't get over how amazing these digital models look ! Love that Sauber Mercedes, got the Exoto 1:18 diecast, was very hard to come by. I'd love to relive the GPL era in Pcars but i guess fat chance, éh ??.... cheers, jan

Hi there Dakota lovers, I've got some bad news and some good news for you gentlemen. The bad news is that i've got nothing really finished yet, the good news is that i'm working on it. :teapot: I would've rather waited coming forward with a new set of screenies until i finally did get something really finished but i know full well how annoying it can be if, for a considerable amount of time, there is no news about the development of something you are waiting for. ( i myself am waiting with baited breath for about 3 years now for any news about PMDG's DC-6 ! :dejection: ) So here's some news about the development of the VVC. In between getting the needles and other anims going i have been mostly camping out in the texture shop. Happy to say that the Yoke is more or less finished...

    Hey Jan,

You guys have been quiet as of late; still waiting on the updated flight dynamics from Rob Young before releasing the updated 2004 sabre?

I hope all of your work with MAAMsim is going well, and that you are having fun with your new gaming machine.

We continue to enjoy the F-86 in FSX very much; we never get tired of it. We look forward to the day that you run the model through the FSX SDK to compile a native FSX model.

    Wishing you the very best,

    Chris Eells

Hey Jan, what ever happened to the N3-N? I have been patiently waiting for it. It was good rugged ship, better than the Stearman.
