    Another finding...the systems file portion of the aircraft xdp also references effects files.     Welcome back!! Much Rejoicing! :applause: :applause: :applause: I have loaded several of your works from back in the day still in my advanced CFS3 instal. So many things have been improved upon by the Masters it will amaze you. Check out ETO 1.50.. And I am a BIG fan of the P-55, you build them and I can wreck them. Let me know when your rolling again, and I would be pleased to build(historical/Hysterical Hobbit) missions for any works from ya.. More rejoicing!!

    Got the finals from Master BorakS for the Me 163, adjusting the historical missions, and planning to add a few Hobbit Hysterical missions also for Master BorakS I have found only 6 confirmed missions for the historical set, (still researching this) and I will try to do 10 for the release. With the Low poly B-17 I can have over 200 B-17 in the missions, and have no Major FPS problems. Will do a set for the newer faster computers and a set for the Older slower computers so all will have some missions to fly. I have worked up a set for CFS3 and for ETO 1.50 that will work in Both Sims. Thanks to ALL whom have worked so hard on the Me 163, it is a joy to dance (wreck) with. Oh yea!     Welcome back. :wavey: Yes CFS3 has come a long way both in content and graphics (with many thanks to AnKor for the latter). I'm impressed by your enthusiasm but these days the community is small and of them only a handful are modding and up to their eyeballs in projects already. I dare say that if you want to move ahead with any of your old models you're going to have to roll your sleeves up and do it yourself! :0) Good luck!

    I also am having a problem with the music swapper not working in ETO1.5 win7 64. I followed Grizzly50 procedure to the letter ,I also tried reinstalling the era music swapper batch file with the exect provided, I also made shure I had all of the required files and made shure they worked. The game works well execpt for the sound not swapping when I change eras, I think I am getting the alternate era sound file not the 1939 version Is there a way to jumpstart the era music swapper? Can it be corrupted? Should I do a reload of ETO?

    Have just discovered this very handy tool too, haven't tried it offline but it looks like you can save the recordings so should be very useful for creating custom radio messages! :0) Voice creation software, it speaks what you type into it, some lovely WAAF type voices in there too. http://www.naturalreaders.com/ ps. has a few different languages too.

    Thanks. :) I have Audacity already but even with that what I can't determine is why cfs3 refuses to play some wav files even though they appear have the same properties as the stock ones. :( What is encouraging is that through trying various things have found that you can add chatter phrases as effects in the aircraft xdp file. For example linking an engine start to the fx_takeoff_b effect/sound so that I hear "you are cleared for take off" during the engine start up procedure (BoB install).

    Yea, spawns are a pain.. I have learned placement is all important on using them. Master Led has a ability to get them working. Placing the take off spawns exactly on the airfield is a MUST. Just placing any spawn in a general area will not work every-time. I rarely use them, in ETO 1.50 I used several with success, but still I made many more missions without them then with them.

    I've now got the compiler to work so can produce GVP files - what I had missed was that I was trying to compile .wma format when they need to be .wav - Doh! However it doesn't work in game as the converted .wav files I have from brundu841 are in stereo and at the wrong frequency. They need to be mono and 11025 Hz. I also think that they may have to be the same length as the original. I don't have the time or inclination to go any further with this at the moment but we now know that it can be done. :)

    Thank you spencer19692007 for making this mission. In the game,looking at the mission facilities, I noticed that the 5in guns on the cruisers are firing (you can see the gun flash) but htere is no sound attached to it. How can one relate the sound of 5in_naval gun to the guns firing? Also in the vehicle facilities when you go to the mission goal(purple triangle) the vehicles you see are bulked together;one,two,tree tanks moving all piled up . can this be corrected?

    I now have a set of French language wav files thanks to brundu841 :) However I can't get the files to compile, anyone ever managed this? I think it's something to do with the file paths set up in the tool.

    Hi All, Has anyone ever managed to successfully compile a .GVP file here please? I'm trying to add a new language pack to CFS3 (it uses the same system as FS2002/04 AFAIK) I have the FS2004 SDK and various other tools that I've found but can't get the darn thing to work. :( Thanks, Clive
