Righto. If I jumped the gun a bit, I apologize. I saw some posts where people were getting fumed and did not want to see it get nasty. It is remaining even-handed and civil. I will just view from afar.

Guys, You are all correct, but I could recite the list of folks who have left over political spats and having their feelings hurt. I just want to make sure that this thread doesn't go there. As long as it stays the course, no problem.

Albix, No one is saying that you do not have the right to express your opinion. Just please do not be abrasive next time, and remember that sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

I woke up to this? Oy vey... Albix, There are about a million better ways to get your point across, (if that is what you intended to make) than what you chose. Do not be abrasive here...this forum is known for its courtesy and respect. I will not tolerate this type of caustic antagonism here. Consider yourself officially warned. Stefano - Sorry you'll have to read this on Monday, but I am going to leave it up as an example for others of what not to do. Many thanks to other users in this thread who have taken the high road. And to your point, I had forgotten about the actual date. I agree that for Italy, this is a major step forward. It's important to highlight successes and lessons learned from the past, and I can only hope that in the present climate of refugees streaming...

This package has been updated on 04/24/2015 to include the following airfields: Acklington, Aldergrove, Castle Archdale, Catterick, Church Fenton, Dishforth, Drem, Driffield, Dyce, Eglinton, Kirton-in-Lindsey, Limavady, Nutts Corner, Prestwick, Stornoway, and Usworth.

Good morning, I sent the revised JHS_UK airfield package off to Achim for testing this morning. As long as it checks out and no other bases need to be added, it will be uploaded very soon. It will differ from the one currently in the library in the following manner... 1) RAF Scampton has been slightly modified to eliminate some bitmap problems. 2) RAF Ouston was moved to a more accurate historical location. 3) The original package will expand from thirty-three up to forty-nine bases. The new bases are...

No, but there'll be something or other about a mutiny report in the release version. Would you like a function where you'll get to meet the gunner's daughter, Sir? :wiggle:

Haven't found a way to turn any of the MFD or other gauges off other than modifying the panel.cfg. Carenado has responded that they are working on this issue.

..as an update to my prior post, I'm still struggling with the FPS on the Hawker. I've taken several flights and tried different things including several more uninstall/reinstalls and disabling the high resolution VC per their FAQ. Still no major progress on getting the FPS to a decent level. For comparison I also have their Citation. Although my FPS limit is at 30, the Citation flies in the mid-20's which is acceptable. The Hawker is about half that, and its definitely noticeable when flying over photorealistic scenery like Seattle. The only thing I haven't done as yet is lower my graphic settings, which I'm reluctant to do at the moment. I've got a support ticket with Carenado and have been updating them with my observations. My hunch is that it is not texture related,...

Hey guys, I am the one who did the historical performance specs for the FDG models. You can get the altered files here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=17&id=6469 Also, I find that engine spec data and aircraft weight go a long way to correcting aircraft performance. The weight of the aircraft is listed in the airfile under 1101, "Primary Aerodynamics."
