Only the typical ones. Outlook and Explorer !! are typically closed. McAfee, CCCleaner and Dell Concierge are running in the background to monitor things. The event log pointed to ntdll which doesn't tell me much. And yes, after my initial post I took another flight with my preferred settings (autogen density back to dense) and the MV P-38L loaded just fine. My typical "test" flight is up to Boeing Field where the Seattle scenery (and Orbx PNW) can be a challenge, but my flight was as smooth as butter. Go figure.

I think I need a refresher course on what the autogen settings do and how it might be affected by other scenery settings. This morning I loaded FSX to take a short hop with the VS P-36A Hawk. When the flight loading bar reached the auto-generated scenery at 80%, FSX stopped responding. I repeated loading FSX and my flight 3 times this morning each with the same failure. Finally, I changed the autogen density settings from dense to normal, and was able to load my flight. After completing my 1st flight, I returned to the menu and reset the density settings back to dense and was able to load and complete a 2nd flight. I have absolutely no idea as to why I had problems as none of my settinigs had changed and I had been flying under the dense autogen settings for as long as I can...

Jmauger, I do not have this, and I do not believe that it has been uploaded here to SOH. However, perhaps Dombral might know where it is hiding.

Good evening, Here are the other shots, including a couple of small anchorages along the Thames. Unfortunately, there is a minor flaw in the landclass and street layout which puts an unseemly road in the harbor area, bit I tried to cover it as best I could. :very_drunk:

LOL. Then we'll have ingenious folk inventing ways of adding aircraft to a ship sim. Seriously; Milton's Bounty project has positively widened the frontiers of thought regarding what can be possible for FS. NCGent's Naval vessels are awesome contributions towards making our seas realistic. DaveWG, Maarten, Chris; much appreciated, mateys :-)

Still need to window dress. LOL. Fish, in the fish mongers, bread in the bakery... and flagons of RUM at your local!

Thanks for the warm encouragement - happy this will be of some interest/use, Gentlemen. Adding more details and items - ground polys and terrain adjustments to come. Lighthouse now happily working in both sims - Milton's awesome flag animation added to Admiralty building. Will probably add the flag at the harbour front, too.

How does it handle the additional addon textures? Does it delete the entire aircraft folder, or just the subfolders installed by the original install? In the past I've always had to do a full backup copy of my texture folders and aircraft.cfg for installing Milviz updates, and was wondering if this is the same.

I don't have it, but I found it on Flightsim. Just do a search for "Conrad Porter" without the quotes, and you should find the link.

This is one aircraft that has a lot of lost potential. I loved it in FS9, but could never understand why there were so no additional repaints. I always hoped it might evolve into a really special package. I installed it once in FSX and it lost its glamour. The way the panel and gauges were designed it took forever to load, and I still missed a yoke in the cockpit. My hopes are now with the VS Mitchell.

Hey guys, Ever wonder what Rami wants for Christmas? Erica asked me if I had anything in mind because she likes to shop during off-peak months. I showed her my ultimate wish, now she thinks I'm certifiably insane. https://www.warhistoryonline.com/military-vehicle-news/want-to-live-the-dream-want-to-fly-your-own-mission-in-a-b-17-bomber-camp-2015-announced.html Her quote? "For that price, you should be served with divorce papers when you land."
