I'm beyond checking it out. I have had it for quite some time. V1.08? Land class is my interest at the moment, although I know this is not yet finished. Are you meaning to say that lc and the latest texture sets are already included? DOH!! Now that I read. Bush Flying - The Next Generation! Welcome to North America, and Orbx's most ambitious project to date. Over twelve months in the making, the FTX Pacific Northwest region is truly a stunning achievement which combines all the elements of the much celebrated FTX AU region series, but goes much further. To PNW we have amped the quality of the ground textures to the next level, and sourced them from pristine imagery to create beautifully crisp terrain even at ground level.

Looks like we're all waiting for the LC for the USA. I'm very interested in seeing how the PNW is depicted.

There is also the Bear Studios Flanker series. Although most are based on the Chinese J11 or J15, you get the Sukhoi 27, 30 or 33 based on which package you select. And there is also the Bear Studios Mig-15 and Mig-17. BTW - I think SeanTK meant the Ka-27/32 Helix

This has likely already been around the forums. Does the user see two screens like this? Watching it on this video almost makes me sick!

If the developers of the scenery would focus more on region specifics for textures rather than a generic approach, their product would be a lot more pleasing. They have access to the images. Anyone does if they pay the price to get them. Prepar3D is the lime light in the future of flight simulation. Which I use. Since LM has taken the reins from Microsoft, along with many other developers, Prepar3D is flourishing, what with all the capabilities. The aircraft (the ones I've purchased) have a "touch it" feel as if almost real. So model developers are right on LM's heels thriving on the abilities they can incorporate in their work. Where I'm going with all I'm talking about, is virtual flight simulation is essentially real surroundings. I feel the scenery could also be the same for...

I must admit, this presentation is impressive how everything is pulled together. It definitely changes the appearance.

Kurt, "It's too quiet in here. Hope this will liven things up a bit." Nope...sorry, I'm still hearing crickets. You're going to have to do better than this. :costumed-smiley-034 Are you kidding? :jawdrop:

If the product depicted a climate based texture package that's relative to the areas they've covered, maybe.

Hey guys, As of right now, I have done about one-third of all the FSX skins. I have been primarily focusing on those who do not have screenshots, and have been hunting through each individual download looking for them. Most of these date back to the 2008-2009 time frame. I have only a couple of these pages left, and then the pace can accelerate a little bit.

Modeling and animations I have sorted, and the graphics are no issue. Mapping currently, that's a WIP that I hope to get sorted. The programming, I'm not doing. Someone will need to volunteer their time for the project before it made an appearance, unfortunately. I'm content if there is no logic coded. I've thought perhaps about a team of people with different skills, to build models for fun, but that doesn't seem to happen anymore without the team coming apart at the seams, at some point.

Lasse Lindh looks of done several helicopters. The only one I was familiar with was the MASH. Sorry to read of his passing. He seemed to be heavily involved in flight simulation. It's such a loss when that happens. It was not myself that started a kmax back then. At the time, I was intimidated just opening gmax!

Don't know if this is a help or not Mike Stone did one for FS9 with no VC and Lasse Lindh had one with a VC on the old swedebird site, you can find an archived copy here

It's been awhile since I flew mine, but I took a different approach. I found an AP from another Virtavia product (Virtavia B-45, I believe), extracted the appropriate files (all beginning with AP) from the cab folder, and placed them in a subfolder under the Skyhawk panel. I named the folder Virtavia_AP. Then it was a matter insuring the proper scripting in the panel.cfg. Works like a charm.
