Bub, Absolutely. I am working on these missions as we speak, and thank you! The Buffalo is a peach to land, by the way. If you have full flaps down, you can come in with the elevators almost all the way up, and use the throttle to completely control your rate of descent, right down to the dirt. It's a thing of beauty!

Did some stress tests on the card and it failed. It locked up just like with FSX and I had to do a hard reboot to get the computer back. Looks like I'm getting a new card. Any recommendations for a replacement? The local tech shop has several ASUS cards but I'm not sure what would work best (or how much my credit card can take).

Nope. Yes. Always. Just did another cleaning and its very clean. Also did a driver update. Nice and smooth, but didn't fix the issue with FSX. Unlikely any MS updates are the culprit since the last update was prior to yesterday when everything ran fine. And although I've tweaked graphic settings in FSX, nothing has changed.

I hate it when these things happen. I just loaded up FSX and encountered a video problem. After loading my flight I can maneuver for about 1 minute before my monitor goes blank. Actually the sim and sound freezes and the monitor turns into a single color. Yesterday, all was fine. The last thing I did was install the latest patch for the Milviz P-38L. I've been on the internet, sending e-mails and printing documents without any problems. No indication of any problems in Windows Error Reporting or with Dxdiag. I suspect it may be a hardware issue as nothing has changed on my computer. I had Dell install the card when I purchased the computer in 2013, so its 3 years old - a AMD Radeon HD 7870 to be precise. I haven't update drivers for a while since things were working quite...

Dombral, I took a long, thorough look at the model, and it would require a lot of work for an overhaul. First, it would need a multi-lod model, and second, a VC would have to be created from scratch, plus it would need a new panel and a .dp file. That's a tall order to ask someone (Allen, Shessi, Oldwheat, whomever) to do on short notice. My plan right now is to use the SB2U Vindicator as the primary attack aircraft, with Dewoitine 376s for the defense of the carrier. If someone can overhaul the Helldiver, then there would be two weapons with which to raise havoc. The Buffaloes and Hawks would be flown off and then based at the airfields in French West Africa, along with the Farman and Potez bombers.

Skylane, For an understanding of what I'm up to, please look at this thread: Read posts #2, and #5-8. Essentially, what I am proposing is this: The French aircraft carrier "Bearn" had run to Halifax, Nova Scotia to transfer French gold bouillon reserves and keep it out of German hands. While there, she was loaded up with twenty-seven P-36s for the French Air Force, six Buffaloes for the Belgians, twenty-five Stimson 105s, and forty-four SBC Helldivers. (I will substitute the SB2U Vindicator for these) After the ship left Halifax the Dutch and Germans capitulated or were overrun, so the Bearn went to Martinique, where she remained until 1944. Now, suppose that she received word...

Good morning, Would we happen to have a ETO Dutch skin for Thicko's Brewster Buffalo? I could use one for a historically-plausible "what-if" I'm doing for the Dakar set.

dvslats, I have those installed on all of my CFS2 installs. I was just looking as UT told me my craters were square and he thought Pen32Win did a mod to correct them. We all work within the limitations of CFS2 coding left to us by MS...:very_drunk:

Yeah, I missed that with the Venerable. The Glory, which was also a Colossus class was done completely by Collin. I read his readme in the HMS Glory and when I saw the Venerable was also done by Collin, I did not look further into the readme and see Tom's name for the DP. :banghead: BTW, I still have Collin's email allowing me to modify and use any of his ships appropriate for BPF as long as I leave all of the readme's in place and give credit where credit is due.

Devildog73, They contain .dp files by Tango Romeo, so they cannot be uploaded to SOH. All of Collin's ships are located here:

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 - Usio Legacy Description: This is the HMS Bermuda in Camo Paint. It is actually Usio no Ibuki's JMK_HMAS_Sydney which he converted into the Bermuda. Both were light cruisers, though Bermuda was a Colony-class and Sydney was a Leander-class. Uploading to add to USIO's legacy. To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit JMK_HMS_Bermuda_camouf The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.

John, The VN_Howe is in VN_ForceZ which is in our library. The JMK designates Usio's ships and it also is in our SOH library. The HMS Venerable is a Colossus class aircraft carrier renamed to Venerable. I believe it is listed as HMS_Glory and was done by Collin Glendinning. It may also be in our SOH library, but if not, it would be in the Groundcrew Group ships library.

Anybody know what package had the fix for the square bomb craters to make them round. Uncle Tgt suggested the fix, but looking over all of Pen32Win's add-ons, I do not see them listed. Thanks, DD
