Hey all. Thought you might be interested in this. The wife and I were at Reno last week and saw our OFM Corsair as part of the static display. We learned later that she won a couple of awards. Waaaay to go.... :adoration::adoration:

I tried to install the paint pack(all) but when selecting the aircraft all the new paints come up as a black screen in the selection menu. I added the files in the common folder to all the paints and used the new cfg file per instructions. What did I do wrong?

Dumonceau, 1) Yes. (I will provide more detail later tonight, or another member can answer this question as to how) 2) What do you mean by UI? 3) I can suggest great Spitfires and Hurricanes, but it depends on your taste. Can you please be more specific about what aircraft types you are looking for? 4) Some paints and color schemes are darker than others, it depends on taste.

Ian, I received RAF Driffield yesterday morning; accordingly, Sealion Kampfgeschwader is now finished with the new mission included, and I also completed the Spitfire intercept of the Driffield raid.

UncleTgt, I can't say it better than Kurt did...but I understand fully the "early efforts" idea. I have the identical reaction looking at "Ghosts of MB past." :sorrow:

Brian, Yup...and your handiwork is still a vital component of it. I use your skins exclusively for Norway, Western Europe, the OstFront, and the Mediterranean. Why replace a classic? I use the He-111 extensively in many ETO campaigns. Your skins: Groundcrew's site:

Good morning, Cap'n! In the interest of using the best equipment available, I am sorting through my Late ETO missions to include your Fw-190 models. I am trying to limit the amount of Fw-190s I use (mainly the Anton-5 and -8 models) to several Jagdgeschwaders in the West...JG 1, 2, 5, 26, and 27. With regard to the "fighter" versions, that's easy-peasy. I've been able to do that flawlessly. I also came across your revision of the "Dora" that completely escaped me, and reconciled your .dp file with kelti's .dp mod so that I can still use her in a "jabo" configuration. Kudos galore on that one! However, with regard to the Fw-190 Anton "jabo" versions, I am thoroughly bewildered. :dizzy: I noticed that there are so many choices and configurations that I don't know where to start....

My BIGGEST REGRET during our three years in Germany was not being able to visit Duxford. As Rami knows, our first year there was a bit of a bust with surgeries and cancer treatments. Then, the bucket lists of could not do the first year became the to do list of the 2nd year. The to do list of the second year became the must do list of the final year there. We so wanted to go to England and Scotland and just could never quite work out the details.

Stef, My apologies on not responding! I have been working on prep for PTC night by day, and tying up some loose CFS2 ends of my own when I have time. I love the new prop discs for all of these aircraft, and your work on producing historical skins is incredible. I'm sure all fans of the YAS Spitfire appreciate your work to restore and enhance these time-tested favorites. You're not being a pest, but I, like you, simply wish more people took the opportunity to respond, rather than just download.

Good morning, Per the discussions in this thread, I have altered the ETO and MTO installation guide so that users make sure to retain the three coastline files listed, rathan than delete them. A new picture of that scenery folder has also been provided. My thanks again to all those who brought this to my attention.

Wayland, There are many more things to come. Kdriver is testing a Fleet Air Arm Tirpitz mission package (10 in all) for me, and Achim27619 is busy in the North of England working on several new bases, including Dishforth, Driffield, Catterick, and has moved Ouston. In addition, there are many more package waiting to be re-released with new missions...

Good morning, Just a friendly reminder...seventy-four years ago today, the Battle of Britain reached its climax. On this day, the Royal Air Force inflicted tremendous losses on the Luftwaffe causing the Germans to postpone, and eventually cancel, "Operation Sealion," the planned invasion of the British Isles.

Shadow Wolf 07, I prepared two missions because I wanted to have a fail safe in case I received a negative response from Just Flight. While discussing this mission with Shessi, Hewman100, and Kdriver, Shessi sent me an example of the DamBusters Mosquito which he modified into an XVI model that cradles two "highball" bombs in its bomb bay. I have this model because I own the DamBusters pack, but I am in the vast minority. So I have sought permission from Just Flight to include it. Some of you may remember several years ago, I petitioned and received permission from Just Flight to create and release freeware versions of their campaigns (Mosquito Squadron and "Double Trouble" - Mustang Vs Fw-190) which are currently in the library. The two main people I spoke with at Just Flight still...
