A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Missions Add-Ons Description: Welcome to the Port Darwin mission package! This package of eleven missions (8 Japanese, 3 American) is an attempt to chronicle the first major Japanese attack on Port Darwin, Australia which took place on 19 February, 1942. The missions in this package allow the user to fly the first wave from multiple perspectives; fighter pilot, diver-bomber pilot, and level-bomber pilot, using the Zero, Val, and Kate respectively. Other missions include the second wave as a level bomber pilot, and three other Japanese missions where you will participate in minor, lesser-known engagements that occurred along with, before, or after the main raid. I'm curious. A few days ago there were a flurry of posts regarding the paint kit for the new Mossie. Is anyone working on some repaints, or has everyone given up?

Gosd, Yes. We can't store them at SOH for reasons I won't get into, but you can find them at MaskRider's site. http://mask-rider.net/MaskRider2008/resources/mr_libobjs_complete.zip http://mask-rider.net/MaskRider2008/

The Hawker Hunter is arguably the jet-powered stablemate of the Supermarine Spitfire regarding design aesthetics. It is also the most incredible sound-generator, as anyone who has seen/heard a high speed run will attest.

Vampire/Venom, Hunter, Lightning and Vulcan. Probably in equal doses.

I believe I've spent more hours trying to come up with a better solution for realistic trees than anything else... Perhaps one day It'll click. :dizzy: Hilltop copses, lush forest, hedgerows bursting with life...

Shadow, I remembered your advice about getting wind over the deck so I could get my P-40 off the deck of the USS Chenango without belly-flopping into the sea. But what numbers do I adjust to ensure it's a steady wind, not a shearing, gusting one that cuts out, almost sucking me into the drink? If you just point out which numbers to adjust, I can take care of the rest. Thanks in advance,

This is truly one enjoyable aircraft. I really like all the animations. Beyond opening doors, windows and bomb bay one can load and fire flares, remove the exhaust covers, and drop bombs. I just finished a flight and discovered I could automate the emergency war power setting. The internal lighting is great; however, it would be nice to be able to dim the gauge lighting a tad. And as already mentioned the external lighting is somewhat overwhelming, so I hope AH/JF can remedy that in a future update. Overall, job well done. :very_drunk:

Amazing terrain mesh, immaculate glass reflections, highly realistic pilot animations. VC textures exquisite - not too sure about exteriors, though...seems slightly lighter than official colours :devilish: Obviously, you're a VC fan, but would it be possible to see some spot views in your next WIP project, Huub? :jump: ps; did you do the textures in Photoshop or MS paint? :dizzy:
