Hey guys, I kind of tipped him off about words and whispers we only utter behind closed doors and in alleyways, not to worry. :very_drunk:

UncleTgt, Before Talon died, he sent me the pass codes for all of Yashico's aircraft. If someone wants to upload them, I can include the password for each aircraft.

Answers: 1. Yes. 2. You will need to make changes to each entry as well as in the section in the aircraft.cfg for the ATC to recognize the aircraft properly. For example, the first entry is for the Edwards Test. This is what the stock entries look like: atc_id=F4E atc_airline= atc_flight_number=00

Dasuto247, That "bug" rears its head in other aircraft as well. Certain models of Thicko's Blenheim have that habit, and his Stirling heavy bomber peels off to attack fighters when they are in the area, even if you manually edit the aircraft in the mission to the bomber configuration. I've been scratching my head about that one for years now. :dizzy:

I can only speak for myself. I like it and recommend it. I have the FSX Standard install without TacPack. There are two models, the F-4E and F-4J which share the same cockpit. Milviz has done an excellent job of modeling internal and external features, sounds, animations, and other things and you will find a lot of repaints for both models. One feature I like is the loadout manager which adjusts fuel and weights as you add or remove ordinance or fuel tanks. It can get very immersive with a cold and dark startup, setting the onboard nav computer, then flying to another destination just on lat/long coordinates and no ILS. Can't comment on the flight dynamics, but they do seem realistic. The only things missing is a working radar and a better manual. There are no tool tips on...

Good morning, I finished the primary GSL work around Monte Cassino when I woke up up just before 4:00am and couldn't go back to sleep. I completed most of the layout work last night when I was talking to Shadow Wolf and Grizzly50, so I just needed to test the layout and turn it into GSL this morning. The biggest challenge was building the town on the grid, and including the rail station. :very_drunk: For the monastery, I used materials from Brunosk's Malta package and some of Wolfi's buildings to separate it somewhat from my "typical" Med scenery look. The scenery may need a flatten....Greg tried to help me with that last night, but my mind was mush. The flattens the way SW 07 describes would smooth and provide some contour. (I still feel guilty for attacking a historic...

KH, I am running on a Dell Dimension XPS 410 (and yes, it is about 8-10 years old), upgraded to 6Gb of RAM (3Gb in XP 32 bit). It has an Intel 2.4 Gb dual core 2 CPU. I have added an nVidia GeForce 9800GT video card with on-board 1Gb of vid RAM. My sound card is an add-on Diamond 7.1, which is listed as a C-media card. The XP 32bit OS is on a Western Digital 500Gb 7200 RPM HD. Windows 7X64 is on a Seagate 500Gb 7200 RPM HD. Occasionally in CFS2 it will lock on a screen and on audio and I have to shut it down and reboot it to unlock the screen. I am not sure which of the add-on cards is doing it, the video card or the sound card. The motherboard has built in video card and built in audio, but I haven't been irritated enough to switch to them while running in XP, ...(yet)... Lee

Lee, No, you've got it the wrong way 'round. YOU have already done these. What I am doing is taking the towns and scenery you have already done, making it GSL, then removing said objects from the missions in order to allow them to load faster. Plus, all of those bridges you did in Central Italy are now GSL as well. The only time I added my own work was for Toulon, Naples, Licata, and Messina. Everything else is you. I even made Sciacca harbor into GSL.
