Fliger747,s FDs is the only one I can perform an Imelman with. IMO it's the best. If Mark had not have me try fliger,s I was going to adapt the FDs from the F4U-7 that can be found on the RFN site. Although written originally for FS9 the FDs are quite good as well as the model.

I think the file is on Simviation with the rest of his downloads. You'll have to search. I'm not on my computer now otherwise I would look it up for you.

If you can visit museums at unfashionable times of the year, it's surprising what you can get a closer look at: the goons at Hendon are still looking for a wild-eyed hirsute lunatic with the audacity to poke a camera through the open window of a Messerschmitt and photograph as much as possible of the instrumentation. On the other hand, RAF Cosford holds Cockpit Days in autumn when lucky ticket holders get close up and personal with some of the most prized exhibits. Yours truly wishes he could wangle a visit on these occasions!

If you want to know if someone is still around, look at the person's profile page: the time and date of their last visit is usually given. I know Bravo/4 has been around lately (last night, in fact), but ndicki is a more occasional visitor. I expect both will see this thread in time, but bear in mind it's holiday season in European latitudes.

Dave I believe it is in the same relative location as your FSX.cfg. C:\Users\username\appdata\roaming\lockheed martin\prepar3d\ or there about. I'm on my phone and typing it from memory.

Pat Pattle, there was a Air force guard there I got to know as a very Young hobbit, and several times he would look the other way, and allow me to climb into various aircraft for a time to play as long as I would not take anything or damage anything. it was a different world back then. Been inside of the B-24 and a B-25 and several others back then. Sure it took sometime to clean up all the Hobbit Drool from those days. :applause: :applause: :applause:

They have a beautiful; one here at the US Air force museum , this has some nice cockpit views . always been fascinated by this bird. Before they moved all of this to it's present location (1970) , I used to my ride my bicycle 17 miles one way to see this. Back then most of the aircraft were outside and no barriers . many times I touched and fondled the birds there during the 1960's And got tossed out several times for climbing into the unlocked birds and playing, grateful back then it wasn't a big issue. and the guards usually just laughed and scolded me as a very young hobbit. http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=524

That's correct, for a .mos to work you cannot have alpha on the texture referenced by the .mos file.

Oh that was what I was afraid of hearing. We were supposed to get together in San Diego for a tour of the zoo which he loved to visit and have dinner. I never met him in person but we communicated quite often. He was one of the people who inspired me to model for FS. I will miss him. Thank you for letting me know sad as it is.

John, there is a fix for this, Many years ago when the Italian ships were first released, They did the same thing. I found a fix and applied it.. Martin Wright if i remember had a program for this?? The Italian ships and aircraft site does not exist now BUMMER. I am going to search my old CD's from 10-12 years ago and see if I can find the answer. I do know this isn't a Major issue, so do NOT become discouraged and keep up the good work.:applause: I will go into my 1000 Plus CD's I burnt back in the day, and try to find the fix. It will take some time, since i am involved in a large number of projects right now.
