Good tip, Tim, but this is a not a tail-dragger, so I don't believe that is the problem. - H52

Thanks Tom & Milton. I played around with the static compression & ratio for the MLG and learned something. However, it did not provide the inclination I wanted. So I settled on 3.5 degrees of static pitch and though I really wanted about twice that amount, the 3.5 will have to do. - H52

I have an aircraft whose fuselage is parallel to the ground when viewed from the side. I want it to sit nose-high by about 5 degrees. I have set the static_pitch entry (in the Aircraft.cfg) to "5" but find that it does not react to any setting above "3". I read somewhere that there is a landing gear compression entry that can also be used, but I have not found it in the Microsoft ESP SDK. All help is appreciated. - H52

Turns out today is my 'day off' (ha). So it will be tamale for the FDE's. And could we do it via email, as that Media Fire site has changed and is 99.9% commercial with the adverts (and popups). I know I don't enjoy that, and assume no one else does either. Anyway the cfg and air file (plus maybe a short readme) is small enough to qualify as an attachment. It will be a zip file. No virus or trojans or ads. My email is 'cbackus3 at att dot net'. Now it's up to you if you trust me with your email info. (I'm too old for 'tricks' or soap operas, if that tells you anything-AND no felonys on my record (heck, don't even have one of those)). I PM'ed Obio too and offered him the BV-170 fde's (via email). I do not plan on uploading anywhere (too may pirates out there). I plan to share. But not expose to payware 'sponges'. They don't share. Why shoud I. Know what I mean? So, that's it. Cheers.
