I'm thinking that the thread's title is "Carenado King Air 350 released". I can't understand the connection of its purpose which is about the release of a product with what some of us believe about another product. Also I can't understand what is wrong with a developer who is choosing to take some more time and spend more development funds, against his income prospects, just to please those of us which want more perfection. Finally I can't understand how can we be so rude when we receive a nice and polite response provided only for helping us, and we insist on criticizing. I hope that this thread created for announcing a new product, won't be compromised and locked because some of us choose to make it a battleground.

Is Vertigo Studios still in business? And if so, are they still working on the Greyhound? After the release of Virtavia's Hawkeye, I was wondering..... NC

I downloaded/installed the Base Colors sound files. I set the time for Evening Colors; was on the ramp & did not hear the sounds. Flew onto the Forrestal deck & reset time again. I could faintly hear the sound, but barely. Figured I would fly over to the terminal, which I did. Reset the time, and heard nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Where should I be situated on the base to hear the sounds? Also, I noticed a possible scenery error? This black building on the ramp, next to a hangar? NC

Adding Morning & Evening Colors is a really nice touch, Rich. Thanks! Memories of a time that just does NOT seem that long ago:encouragement: Go Navy. Have a good evening, shipmates. NC

Hey Rich, So much has changed with the Navy since I retired in '97 (no further comment :censored:), but vehicles are supposed to stop, and anyone walking must stop as well, and face the direction of the flagpole on base (and salute, if in uniform). I used to love hearing Taps played, when aboard ship; Reveille too:encouragement:. I have a ship's clock at my home (no surprise, eh?). I forget to wind it all too often, but my wife isn't a fan of it because it wakes her at night with the sound of ships bells. Absolute fantastic work done on Alameda, Rich. Never been there, unfortunately. Was on Moffett once, and at North Island for one weekend (on det to the Kitty). But almost all of my time was on the East Coast, until my last squadron at Whidbey. NC

Richard, I honestly have not kept up with the progress of your project, as I've had too many other real-life stuff happening lately. But your detail work is truly amazing! I hope someday to see NAS Cecil Field recreated to that level. The problem is, except for a few photos I've been able to collect from the internet over the years, I've not been able to locate much on the history of Cecil. What really surprised me is that the Naval Aviation Museum has almost no information about the base. NC

The body of Capt. Kuss was brought back to NAS Pensacola today, onboard Fat Albert. A lot of people were on the beach when the aircraft flew by. It was escorted by Blue Angel Solo pilot, LT. Ryan Chamberlain.. I hope you all can see this. NC Another one, showing the huge flag that people were holding during the flyover.

Leave it to a city supervisor in San Francisco to come up with this idiotic request: http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/SF-supervisor-seeks-to-bar-Blue-Angels-from-7962480.php This moron wants to ban the Blue Angels from flying over the Bay City because the Blue Angels "strafe" neighborhoods. Capt. Kuss isn't even buried, and this is proposed. Shameful. NC

Here at the Home of the Blue Angels, Pensacola, the entire city is showing support for the Blue Angel team and their families. There is a makeshift memorial at the military park downtown, with a picture of Capt. Kuss, UCMJ, surrounded by flowers and candles. Last evening there was a annual Festival of Five Flags parade, and many people wore blue and gold to show support. One of the Navy's finest is gone. Rest in piece, sir. Navy Chief

Ian, DTG's support is ridiculously bad. I emailed them once, and it literally was weeks before they replied. You truly have a better chance of finding a answer to your X55 problem by posting it on the DTG Flight School Discussion forum. Actually, I have not checked, but wouldn't be surprised if a post concerning that did not already exist. Good luck my friend. Pete

I spoke to my church's pastor yesterday before the service began, because last year on Memorial Day's service, he asked that all of the vets in the congregation stand to be thanked for our service. I, and many others, were embarrassed. Memorial Day is just that..."Memorial".... to remember those who sacrificed their lives; NOT to thank the living. Pastor thanked me for the reminder. NC
