Old Tiger, I wouldn't overwrite. I just downloaded it and had a look. The original aircraft.cfg file will be overwritten. I merely changed the name of the new aircraft file to reflect the new aircraft name. ...and VOILA! TWO Do 17s in BoB. :D I have already alerted Clive by PM.

1PanzerLAH, The aircraft in question IS in the Solomon Islands Update 1.54.exe. Look in the aircraft folder in your CFS3 PTO Solomon Islands install for the folder named a_20C_070. If you don't see it, then it may not have been installed properly. I hope this helps. :D

1PanzerLAH, PTO_Solomons and PTO Rising Sun are two entirely different installs. They are NOT interchangeable. PTO_Solomons starts with the PTO_build1.4.exe, and has 6 updates; Solomon Islands update 1.00.exe, Solomon Islands update 1.13.exe, Solomon Islands update 1.22.exe, Solomon Islands update 1.30.exe, Solomon Islands Update 1.40.exe, and Solomon Islands Update 1.54.exe. PTO Rising Sun has nine parts for the basic install; CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-1.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-2.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-3.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-4.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-5.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-6.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Rev-Beta-1.0-Installer_part-7.zip, CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Uisel-Installer_part-8.zip, and RS-static-aircraft-mole-fix_installer.zip. There has been only one PTO Rising Sun update released to date: CFS3_PTO_Rising_Sun_Beta_1.0_Hotfix_Mini-Update_Install_Pack.zip.
