I have not been on line very often recently(most of the summer) I just noticed your message. I flew on the Connies out of Argentia Newfoundland on sorties to LAJES and return(approx 10 hrs). I was there for an 18 month tour 02/05/1958. I subsequently went to two other R&D stations where I flew with the connies. I went to London, Bermuda, Guantanomo Bay, crosscountry from Massachussets to California to ferry a blimp engine for our R&D blimp[about 17 hours]. I was a Navy Aviation Electronics Tech E6, and was 1st tech of three on board the aircraft
