The story of Kee-Bird cannot be fully told, without also tying in one of Darryl's greatest dreams. Shockwave . His aspiration to build a piston-powered racer, and speed record aircraft, capable of 600mph. It was Darryl's plan to use Kee-Bird to help finance Shockwave. His distraught in the '29 is overshadowed by sorrow, knowing that Shockwave might never become a reality. A candid photo I took of Darryl in 2013. I exchanged some memories with him, as I had a rare 8x10 black and white photo of the RB-51 from 1976 that my father took, that I was able to hand him as a gift.

The hot and dry Idaho summer has prevented us from completing the audio recordings for the Continental C-145, Lycoming IO-360, and other(s). We're looking forward to cooler, and more moist weather to come our way. Sorry the the lack of progress updates. There's a lot that we don't care to disclose just yet. Many groundbreaking features. Best, - Joseph

A few images from some backcountry flying in the C-47. This is Soldier Bar 85U, in Idaho on Big Creek. Serious bush flying. If you have ORBX Central Rockies, you'll see they did a pretty good job with the bumps, curves, and downhill slope. (Take-off downhill, land up) It's 1,400 + feet by about 15ft wide. Elevation 4190. On A summer afternoon - do the math!

Thanks fellas. I'm sure the owner will release rights to let us all enjoy this bird within the simulator. Probably pending his arrival back in Colorado. He mentioned thunderstorms yesterday, en-route, on their way home from Oshkosh. - Joseph

Last year, I accepted the challenge to come up with a unique Livery design for a Lancair Legacy, that was being constructed in Colorado. The theory was to use FSX as a medium, and the brilliant RealAir Simulations Legacy as a platform. The owner/builders goal: Win Oshkosh! Now that's it been released to the public, I can finally showcase the simulated version! It took us several painstaking months, and multiple livery design ideas and combinations to come up with the end result! Congratulations to Owner Valin Thorn, 2016 Oshkosh Gold and Design Innovation, Grand Champion Kit Built aircraft! Attached image of the Legacy at OSH last week. And also the livery we arrived at via simulator, prior to any real paint ever being applied!

A couple friends and I decided to take some Mustangs up along the Oregon Coast yesterday evening. It was my first attempt at running Active Sky '16, which was I was highly impressed by. I still have my HD REX Textures installed, however I am going to attempt AS16 with their own HD Texture set next, just to see what's they've done. Let me tell you, the weather transitions were incredible! Coming from REX Essentials, AS5, and also FSRealFX Pro., this is by far the best weather experience I have had thus far. - Joseph
