    I think we understand that Bill.. But that's not really the issue.. I quote from one developer... " the P3D platform has many changes from the FSX platform from flight modelling to display not to mention the totally different model formats." Oh.. Now the model format is totally different? Please!?! - Joseph

    In general, an FSX compatible (FSX native) aircraft is by default fully compatible with P3D. Where the issues arise, are; 1.) When the aircraft is copied over to P3D, rather than installed using the original installer. (You should ALWAYS use the installer, and point to the P3D directory) 2.) When external / hidden files are used in system coding, in an unorthodox / non SDK manner. 3.) When the developer LIES TO YOU to try and make an extra $ with separate installers!! *caution they want in your pants. - Reference; you're wallet.

    Tom (fliger) gave us permission to use his FDE as the base on the 'Racer' version. (the original AF was just junk) The racer model get's some flack, I think folks figure it's just a hopped up speed-demon. Actually, the aircraft is based a very stock, yet clean, FG-1D. The FDE was thoroughly upgraded in many areas, plus the addition of the RE systems. So in short.. the racers version is the definitive full package. Hope this helps! - Joseph

    Regarding the Corsair; Dump those original flight dynamics, in favor of this. Just be sure to read the manual! - Joseph

    Rick, As much as that sounds GREAT, I'll have to focus on some paying gigs, before working toward more of that nature. While there's speculation; At least a few new concepts and ideas are being used, for the first time, while shamelessly involving an unadulterated classic. *wink

    Good-day folks, This past February, it was announced that I was partnering with Vertigo Studios, in efforts to help revive their list of unfinished aircraft, and finally bring them, with much anticipation, to full fruition. I regret to inform you that my partnership with Dean / VS has been terminated. It was a consensual and mutual affair. I wish Dean, and Vertigo Studios all the best, regardless of what might be next for them. This might generate questions about their T-33, B-25, or other projects. Please refer these questions to Dean, and inquire at Vertigo's site. Let's have some good-news shall we? Since I have already gone full-time into FS development, consider this my first public notice of a new start-up venture. Details will filter in soon, however we'll allow a...

    I haven't purchased the Tornado (Yet!) But as a sideline observer, I find it a bid ridiculous to compare the 'fps' of this product, to another aircraft... If your RIG isn't up to running the level of detail in the product, for goodness sake, turn some settings down. I thought we were past this in the hard-core SOH community? If you're like me, your sim is optimized for the best performance, and display. There are so many hardware differences, so many configurations, and preferences, it's silly to compare just 'FPS' from one product, as opposed to another. Rather.. Find out what kind of VAS is being used... I doubt this hits as hard as you think. Unless there is severe code flooding, or just a terribly in-efficient systems model, it's likely the large textures that would...

    ... If you Don't know, just google him. This really isn't off topic I remember the opening credits of Rocketeer, in 1991. It was the first movie that just Dad and I went to see, in the theaters. I thought that was pretty cool, I was 4! During those opening credits, the GeeBee rolls out, and Horner was the composer of that timeless piece of music. From that moment I was hooked on not only aviation, but air racing. Thanks Mr. Horner! You are already missed. One of my favorite pieces of redux to the original;
