Pitcairn XOP-1 Autogyro Navy VX-4 & Marines VO-6M.zip
|
Authentic repaints for Golden Age Simulations' Pitcairn XOP-1 autogyro. A-8850, assigned to Test & Development Squadron Four of the Fifth Naval District (VX-4D5) at Naval Air Station Anacostic, Maryland, was flown by Lt. Alfred M. Pride on September 23, 1931 when he made three takeoffs and landings on the USS Langley (CV-1) while it was underway, the first landings on an aircraft carrier by a rotary-winged aircraft. A-8976 was assigned to Marine Observation Squadron Six (VO-6M) of the East Coast Expeditionary Force, based at Marine Corps Air Station Quantico, Virginia and deployed to Nicaragua for testing in combat. (It was found unsuitable due to its low speed, short range, small payload and lack of armament.)

fs9_f7f-300_fighter_2d_panel.zip

After the Test panel for Milton Shupe's fine Grumman F7F Tigercat here now is the panel for the fighter as flown in operational units. The main panel has not only be recolored to match an operational fighter but also it has some evolutions compared to the TEST panel. With this panel you should feel as a fighter pilot on the commands of an operational fighter over the pacific. (I know I pretend a lot). Other version for this marvellous bird are in the tube, like a panel for the tanker, the nightfighter, a modern one seater, also a modern two seater. All the panels could have been done due to the lot of documents Milton Shupe did furnish me.
I hope you will enjoy my little contribuation to this outstanding bird.
Happy landings!
Yours.
