A rework of the 2D and VC panels for Chril Herring's Fairchild 91. In the 2D panel the gauges have been rearranged for a better scan, and resized and relocated to fit into the bezels painted on the panel bitmap. A few items like a visible mag switch, and gear lever and flap levers have been added. In the VC the gauges have been raised up into a more realistic position on the panel, and the layout has been altered to match the new 2D panel. The viewpoint in the 2D cockpit has been elevated to parallel the aircraft's longitudinal axis so that you will be looking at the horizon when the plane's nose is pointed at the horizon.
A replacement panel background for the early Fairchild series by James Hefner and Jim Douglass, made by Mick from a screen shot of the VC. It will melt the ice and snow off of the exhaust system. By Mick, 2008-12-12 20:58:26
A repaint of Chris Herring's Fairchild 91 in the livery of the Nationalist forces in the Spanish Civil War. The Republican government purchased a single Model 91 which was intercepted upon delivery and taken over by the Nationalists. Although there was only one "Vergen de Chamorro," she wore at least three different markings schemes during her service in Spain. Requires either version 1 or version 2 of Chris Herring's Fairchild 91. Textures modified from Chris Herrings base textures by Mick Morrissey. NOTE: This paint will work with either version 1 (no VC) or version 2 (VC but no animated flaps) of Chris's Fairchild 91. It will probably NOT work with the anticipated version 3 with animated flaps due to changes in the texture mapping of the wings.
Please note - This package contains the following update: This file corrects an error in my Spanish Civil War paint of Chris Herring's Fairchild 91.
These files update my Panair do Brazil, Imperial Japanese Navy and Spanish Nationalist paints of Chris Herring's Fairchild 91 to work with the latest version of the model with animated flaps and new flight dynamics. Requires the original repaints plus the latest version of the Fairchild 91. Textures by Mick Morrissey modified from Chris Herring's originals.
