This rebuild of the stock CFS2 TBD-1 Devastator. De-mirrored textures and new virtual cockpit. All your basic animations like control surfaces, cockpit canopy and tailhook and wings. No LODs for the model but is not a triangle monster at just over 4600 tris. Comes with 3 textures. VT-6 in 1938, VT-2 in 1942/2018 and NAS Miami as advanced trainer 1943. Also works in my copy of FSX Gold. I'm not a FS04 or FSX person so if change need to be made feel free to do so.
My thanks to Captain Kurt as I looked at his CFS2 TBD-1 and went I'm just going to make a copy of that.
Like I did with Aeroplane Heaven's F3F-2, I found the recently released Fokker E.III/IV to be a very exacting model for me to ply my wares. So, I did an Emiril job on the E.IV 164/16 and kicked it up a notch. This E.IV Eindecker has reportedly been flown by Max Immelmann and also by Kurt Wintgens of Feld Abteilung 6b. Nonetheless, it had black and white quadrants painted in the wheel covers, which I corrected. Also, I have a texture photo of an actual piece of German Doped Linen. This is in a 512 X 512 size. I used this to copy and paste into all fabric surfaces on the texture.6 E.IV. New frame lines were done with new gradients and shading. Think of this as a factory fresh E.IV. I also painted in control line holes on the fuselage and corrected the metal cowling to my liking (I could see no Fokker nameplate in my reference) and also cleaned up the alpha for the cowling and fabric overall. I plan to muck it up a bit, but could not help sending up a clean version. Caz Dalton, January 2010
This is a UPDATED repaint skin pack (skins only) of Bruce Thorson's (Flightsimmer) Curtiss Hawk 81 (P-40B/Tomahawk) converted to CFS2 by Bearcat241, you can get it here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.ph...fo&FileID=6036 Special thanks to Bruce for providing this beautiful aircraft, and to Bomber 12 for giving me a great canvas to start with. Thank you to Bearcat241 for converting this plane for us! Special thanks to Bub, Jimko and Jinx for providing me with pics and books, so as to make my job much easier. These would not be possible without their help. I have also included a canopy texture that was provided by Sarg Willy, this texture file insures that the textures can be seen behind the side plexiglass windows. Thanks Sarg!! These textures represent 9 of the American Volunteer Group 3rd Squadron Hawk 81-A-2's. Numbers 47, 49, 68, 69, 71, 75, 77, 88, and 92.
This package contains destructible models of Type A and B aeroplane sheds which housed single and two seat aircraft, plus a large hangar for housing bombers.
The main features of the A and B sheds were the timber construction, the single pitch roof, the internal platform and the combination of swinging and drop-down doors.
