This is a repaint for the excellent payware Fight Replica Messerschmitt Bf109G. To use these textures you must own a legal copy from this package. It depicts the Messerschmitt Bf109 G6-Trop flown by an unknown pilot from 7./JG53 from Comiso Sicily (Italy) in June 1943. When 7./JG53 arrived at Sicily there wasn't much flying so the technician Uffz. Heinz Dach painted these nice comic like artwork on the aircrafts. This repaint was made using Mike Flahault's original paintkit as a base (Thanks SteveB for the conversion!) . The textures included are in 32/bits format for maximum details. However for slower machine I advise to convert the textures in DTX3 format. Enjoy! Huub Vink April 2009
Scrach build model. Fully animated with breaking parts and damage texture logics. Model is Multi LOD with working virtual cockpit. Texture is hack job of the stock CFS3 Bf 109G-6 textures.
After viewing photographs and additional information I have updated this paint. This will overwrite the older version This repaint is for the Flight Replicas Bf109G-6 Bf109G-6 Trop, White 9, 7./JG53 Sciacca, Sicily, 1943 The aircraft of 7 Staffel had some very unusual personal markings applied to their G-6 aircraft. A mechanic did the artwork during a lull in operations when the aircraft first landed in Sicily. All shared a similar theme of the Jagdgeschwader emblem involved in a particular activity. This machine was that of Unteroffizier Georg Amon. The meaning of the artwork is unclear. The rest of the aircraft is pretty standard with RLM 74/75/76 finish, yellow lower engine cowl and RLM 70 spinner with a white segment. A white Mediterranean theatre band and wing tips are also present with the III. Gruppe bar being finished in the same colour. Photos also reveal the presence of a 300-litre drop tank under the fuselage and the two clips under the cockpit for the sun umbrella. Interestingly this aircraft ended its life with Uffz. Walter Reinicke (also from 7 Staffel) at the controls. His war ended on 3 July 1943 as a British POW. Amon scored nine victories before bailing out of another stricken aircraft and being taken prisoner on 2 April 1945.
