Two textures as well as aircraft and panel configuration options for Chris Herring's Northrop Alpha 2 available at major websites.
One texture is based on the TWA example hanging at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, while the other represents a military C-19 in the colors of Wright Field, Ohio.
Both are meant to be for 1935 or so, but may be earlier.
Original model by Chris Herring. Textures and modifications by Jorge L. Rechani.
This rebuild of the stock CFS3 Me 262A-1. Exterior and Interior model reworked and cleaned up. Mostly the Interior/VC model. The model is on the basic side as just has moving parts and working VC. No LODs, breaking parts or mouse-able switches and levers. Uses MAPE auto spoiler gauge for the wing slats. Re-texture of Hauke Keitel "KiDI" XML gauges used for the engines. Re-texture done using CFS3 gauge textures so the engine gauges better match the CFS1 gauges used on the main cluster. Flight Dynamics are from Combat Flight Simulator 3 and could really use work IMO.
Comes with 3 textures "Yellow 8" JG 7, "D-IMTT", the Messerschmitt Stiftung's replica Me 262 and a fictional gray paint sort of based off of Franz Stigler "White 3" JV 44. Also works in my copy of FSX Gold. I'm not a FS04 or FSX person so if change need to be made feel free to do so.
Update: 12/27/23
Updated model to make pilots 15% bigger. New auto wing slat gauge that retract slats at more historically correct speed. Contrail gauge and effects added so aircraft now makes contrail when under G-load to be more like FSX. Aircraft.cfg [lights] [EFFECTS] [Reference Speeds] updated.
