This base is dedicated to the Combat Flight Center community. The Combat Flight Center is one of the largest sites for combat flight simulator enthusiasts. Whatever you need for this simulation or whatever you need to know about it, you will find it there. I know that this base was planned a long time ago at Canelo's Cantina one of the forums at the cfc messageboard. Steve McClelland and I had the idea to design the base after we couldn't stand the fact that the Uhu_Squadron has more then ten bases and the others have to start on a grassrunway and steel fuel at the Uhu_bases ;-) At the time Steve was very busy with the 7thNJG website and so I've started to play around with my tools and suddenly.... Canelo's Cantina and all the other stuff appeared on my screen. I only had to pack it in a zip-file and here it is...
The current Rhumbaflappy DEM mesh 22 files set has one bad zip file and won't open. Rami and I talked about this months ago but evidently it can't be fixed. This is a good zip of the DEM8_18 file which can be used to replace the bad file, so the mesh package can be used again by people who have not started using the mesh files yet.
Nothing has been changed, it's the original files inside the zip - but this one will open.
Seafire LIII British Pacific Fleet 45 skin by UncleTgt
This is a repaint for the CFS 2 conversion of Aeroplane Heaven's Seafire LIII by Buddha13.
This aircraft is from 894 squadron F.A.A. based on H.M.S. Indefatigable during Operation Iceberg off Okinawa APR 45. This particular plane was flown by Sub Lt RH Reynolds, the Fleet Air Arm's only Seafire ace.
The base texture is mostly Morton's work, all I did was to take one of his excellent repaints, remove the original markings & add some new BPF markings.
Thanks to
Aeroplane Heaven for a gereat aircraft.
Buddha13 for doing the conversion of the FS2004 aircraft to make it available within CFS 2.
Morton for a great set of repaints.
This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions
