CFS2 BOB Version 1.01 Please note: This version updates the earlier install of CFS2 BOB and now includes the missing GSL London scenery objects. CFS2 Battle of Britain scenery enhancement. This package contains a collection of RAF airfields represented as closely as possible to what they would have looked like during the Battle of Britain period.
For those who have either had significant problems with the auto-installer package or would prefer to have a manual install of the Battle of Britain airfield package by Gary Burns, this package will facilitate an easier install.
For the Cliffs of Dover, the original files have been included for now, but if at some point a better solution can be made, the package can be revised.
All files needed for these airbases are included. This package includes the following…
1) All of the bases in the original package, (Hawkinge, Kenley, Biggin Hill, Croydon, Hornchurch, Duxford, Middle Wallop, Warmwell, Tangmere) plus the addition of Gravesend.
2) Also included are the Vetnor Radar station and the Cliffs of Dover, in their original form.

Expansion for Dvslats CFS 2 Enhanced Texture Set by Uncle Tgt
Having used Dvslats dark FSX style & CFS 2 enhanced texture sets, I began to look at reworking some of the few remaining gaps to blend in with this new look.
This set is an addendum to Dvslats CFS 2 enhanced set, but it also goes well with my own texture set for Rhumbase CFS 2 Tropical Landclass, & Dvslats dark FSX style texture set.
This pack contains:
New snowcap textures & patchy snow covered rocks, designed to give a better feel to those trips over the hump into China.
Darker desert & semi-desert textures, no longer bright sand, but now a darker scrub more like the high dry desert plains in China, Manchuria & Mongolia.
To be fair, these don't reduce that tiling effect you get with large expanses of the same landclass, & this is especially true of the chinese high plains areas. These areas need to serious landclass work to give better variety of appearance.
Installation:
You already have any of the darker CFS 2 texture sets installed, just place these into your main TEXTURE & SCENEDB/WORLD texture folders to overwrite what was already there.

Copy into other CFS 2 add on scenery / Texture folders as required.
Thanks to dvslats for converting Aime Leclerc's FSX textures for CFS 2 - these really do transform the pacific tropical forest regions.

These are the CFS2 original textures, slightly modified, to give us basement dwellers something else to mess around with.
All that was really done is the removal of the neon green from the original bitmaps.
A good test bed for these would be for them to go into Captain Kurts The_9th_Fighter_Squadron,_49th_Fighter_Group_in_WWII campaign.

This add-on will add three new barracks to your CFS2 installation. These barracks are GSL destroyable objects and are inspired in stock CFS2 Barracks Type C.
This is just a little bugfix, because the standard cities in Europe don't look good in at all. Contains replacement bitmaps for all cfs2 terrain city textures for the western hemisphere, and corresponding alpha masks.

If your FPS is too slow, you can change the scenery density in scenery library.
