It was a lot of fun and a lot of work but certainly an SOH team effort in every respect. I captured some of the early in-progress efforts and created a website here: http://www.flightsimonline.com/xterra/index.htm After completion of that project, RealOldSalt created a variant, and Bomber_12th proceeded to deliver several variants of his own to include the K model. This was an exciting time here at SOH and we truly benefitted from all the involvement and contributions made by so many. Of course, all the A-26B/C/K variants and repaints can be found right here in the SOH library.
These updates simply remove the decal from the nose sections to eliminate the transparency issues in FSX. These updates do not address props or other FSX SP2 issues. These four models are updates to the originally released models in the library. Hello Milton . I installed the AC in FSX. The both front sides from winscreen foreward are missing. In other words, the frame of the AC is there but we see through it. Is there a cure? Also, my spinng props are yellow. Curre ? Works OK in FS9 thanks. Ben
Hi all I'd really like to download the Douglas A-26 Invader from the SOH library (a26_soh.zip - A-26 Invader for FS2004/FS9 - Manual Installation) but I always get this error message: I read the Downloading FAQ and did everything described there but nothing helped. I also tried using different web browsers without more success. Oh and yes I'm registered and logged-in. I don't think the problem is an overloaded server (as it's written in the above FAQ) because I've been trying now for a while (different days and hours). One thing is strange though: I have no problems downloading recent files. But I can't download any (older) file from the 'Top 15'. So it's not a problem only affecting a26_soh.zip.
Hey Guys, New to SOH, and have just aquired the a26 thanks to Milton. Looks great. The only thing missing are the props. I know there has been past discussion about this issue but cannot seem to find that fix in any posts anymore. Can anyone spare time to explain the solution? Cheers! Pat
Love the A-26- but ground handling is awful- any hints, tips or suggestions???

Hi all! :salute: Yeah, me again... :icon_lol: I set up FS9 on my new system running Windows 7 64-bit. After installation of the great SOH Invader I get the following error message when I select it in the Aircraft Selection Menu of FS9 (see also attachment): ---------------------------------------------------------------- ERROR - FS9 Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.
I am seeking help and guidance on two fronts. One is how to add the Shockwave light effect to the A26/B26 acft cfg file. The other issue is I am trying to create a working firing gun effect to the B26 counter invader. Don't have a clue how that would be done. (FS2004 version) Any one that can help or have suggestion on either or both is appreciated!!!!:173go1:
Flying the B model, Kitty hawk repaint and I am getting landing lights that look like this. No problems on the C model. Can anyone help?
Hi Milton, I try downloading the A-26. The file should be over 40mb as I read. But I download a file with only 10mb and my zip prog say it is corrupt. I love old props so I would like downloading this. Any hint for me? Tabea from germany.
