I was very happy to have visited Fantasy of Flight twice while I lived in Florida. I wish I could have gone more though.

It is a really cool place.

I cant tell from that picture what type of aircraft he is working on.

What is it?

My guess would be a Hawker Tempest Mk II.

"Most people got yesterday's post right: We have pulled our Tempest II over to help in the restoration of our Tempest V.
At this point, it doesn't make sense not... to do BOTH of them side by side as one will help the other with the Tempest II being basically complete!
I gave Andy the choice of either restoring the two Tempests or getting my hang glider flying again.
Guess I'll have to wait."

2 Hawker Tempests!!!

1. Bristol Centaurus powered Tempest mkII.

2. Napier Sabre (YES!!!) powered mkV.

Both are being restored to fully airworthy, display status.

I'm losing sleep already! :jump::jump::jump:

As soon as the Napier Sabre powered mkV is doing flight checks, I'm commited to gearing up for simmers.
