X-plane has made a ton of changes especially in world scenery and picking up developers that heretofore only developed for FSX. It is the only true 64-bit flight simulator out there. Thanks for posting this Ted...I'm running behind the ball for the next couple weeks so I appreciate this.

^ PMDG has some "mad" programmers/modelers... look at those shaky gauge needles caused by the vibration from those big radials!

Interesting, just watched the video around 9:00am and was 1:11+ hours long. Was posted since March 3rd. Now it's been pulled! Go figure.

Thanks for the tip, Ted ! ( have to say i was quite a bit put off by the Xplane scenery compared to FSX/Orbx...)

Hey Jan how you like the vibrating panel?

Glad to see they took care of that! Maybe not the final iteration. Looks a bit funny with movement along the horizontal axis only.. And if there's one thing that should vibrate particularly it's deffinately the whiskey compass !

The cockpit detail is amazing!!!

It is absolutely beyond magnificent ! A propliner lover's dream come true !! But, hey, it's PMDG. What else could we expect ? We haven't been waiting for more than 3 years for nothing !!

Don't forget A2A, Ted, they initiated the whole vibrating thing !

I noticed that too (whiskey compass). Would like to see an actual panel vibration on aircraft that does this. Some of those Dak videos shows the yoke vibrating a little at idle.

I tell you Jan, your Dak cockpit is magnificent too! Testing it is pure pleasure to my eyes!!!

I haven't forgotten that in the B-17 model and much more.

Just checked that Twitch video right now and it's live again. Technical difficulties I guess since I was getting 505 error on that page.

Thanks papab on checking!

Yes, it's hard to see on RW videos, with the camera usually shaking about a bit as well. But even if everything keeps perfectly still in a real cockpit, a little vibration of some stuff at certain moments in a VC does help a lot with the immersion factor, doesn't it. The more clues we can get that there are a number of these awesome piston engines at work outside the better it is. Personally i can't thank A2A enough for showing the way here even if it might be exaggerated a tad. At certain points some exaggeration can work very well in a simulation. In any case, that's my POV towards it. :)

Thanks, Ted! Doing the best i can. Manfred and i are working hard to iron out the problems. F.i. the 'counting blades' start-up using the switches works fine now.

As with everything else they really nailed that vibration bit too, didn't they, be it with the B-17, Spit, P-51 or Cherokee (haven't flown P-47 for a long time) Truly wonderful that they didn't forget the engine cowlings on the B-17 neither. As far as i'm concerned 'to vibrate or not to vibrate' is *not* the question. :teapot:
