Hello:wave:
I need to try to write all zero's to a Maxtor hard drive. There is a program avaliable from Seagate to do this, but it refuses to install on my computer. Does anybody know of some other way I can write all zero's to the hard drive? Another program, a way to do it in DOS......?

I think this *might* be how I can fix my hard drive that broke a while ago. I was recomended this, along with Seagate's program, and since then I've tried searching for programs to do this for a few weeks now, but no luck:faint:. I can't install the Seagate program because the only way that computer is able to load is Safe Mode, and an MSI installer isn't going to work like that....:help:
Thanks.

NOTE: to anybody who really cares, this is the program I already tried.
