In a recent discussion about the Round The World Race it was pointed out that there is a cure for those pesky trees that clutter the airports of the world.

This set of files will remove trees near runways for every airport supplied as standard with FSX. Some rural airports have trees right up to the threshold, making them rather tricky to use! This package removes trees from an area three times the runway width.

I thought that tree removal was the reason airplane wings have sharp edges...I guess now I know why my landing success rate is so low.

i tried something once that claimed to do that and it flattened everything near the runway, including airport bldgs. is this the same thing or does it only do trees?

Great: During the FSX development I pointed this issue out, It apparently didn't fit into their alloted time frame for cure.

Cheers: T.

There were quite a few issues that didn't make the cut, as you well know! There's a group of us over at http://fsdeveloper.com who're trying to come up with some "out of the box thinking" to resolve some of 'em! :friday:
