Beware of the NVIDIA 361.75 driver set.

It causes transient flashing in FSX-A.
Apparently in the steam variant, too.

Thanks for the warning, they just notified me to download it. However 361.43 flashes too and I don't have a clue how to stop it.

I was fine with that one.
The issue has been reported, but whether they'll do anything is anyone's guess.
