Anyone have a force feedback joystick, i.e. Logitech 3D Wingman, for sale? I see them on Ebay & Amazon. Just wondering if a SOH member might have one they aren't needing, and would sell. Seems like the shipping costs on so many items on Ebay is way too high. NC

I was thinking Craigslist, but there weren't any FF joysticks listed For Sale in Pensacola.

I just picked up a Logitech "RumblePad" gamepad on Amazon for $15.00... I've been experimenting with using a GamePad in FS, and it works! In fact, I'm surprised just how well it works, and how easy it is to control both airplanes & Helos with it! I'd like to see if the FF function actually works!

So I got the RumblePad, and I like it a lot! I prefer the slide for the Throttle instead of using the Triggers, and in unison with the Keyboard I think it'll be a good combination. I haven't tried the FF function, although I have it turned on in the Sim.

NC -- I came across this one...

The good old 'shipping cost' rort again!
I had cause to send an average size PC Case plus PSU and Radiator to Brisbane.
Every company including Australia Post calculate the cost on 'Volumetric Weight', length x width x height equals their version of weight.
So my 22kg package worked out to 50kg+/- and would have been charged at A$150.00!
Even sent 'Registered' by Australia Post and if I required the receiver to sign for it there would be an additional charge.:banghead:
I managed to send the box via a friend's company, his contracted carrier only charged A$38.00.
You are not alone!!!

Well, something went whack with the RumblePad... for some reason, the Aileron axis has become erratic in Rt. Roll, and either goes full Rt. or nothing.

Lubrication didn't help... so, for the time being I've gone back to the Dual Control gamepad.

I know... gamepad? But, in the restricted Desk space I have, it works just fine for me. :very_drunk:
