This is a request to all of the skinners that we have in the Community. I've tried the skinning thing and am not too good at it and would like to have a "personal" paint scheme for a DrI to fly in OFF. Nothing really fancy, just an all black DrI with a '50s style flame job on the cowling and fuselage, similar to the '55 in the photo but done in black with red and yellow flames. Can anyone help me out? I'll gladly remunerate you for your trouble. Any takers?

Don't know about the skinning, but I'd wager there's a few around here, who might enjoy giving you real flames on the cowling and the fusilage :d

Camel, I'd be happy to. I have 1 half-complete for WF2, and I can do one for you.

It's the least I can do for you. Thanks for supporting us.

PS.... I own (well.. I'm restoring) a 1966 Nova Wagon, so I know a thing or two about classic cars and flames. ;)

Well PD, if you've already started on it! Looks great so far. That's just about what I had in mind, except (don't think I'm being picky) I was thinking of a yellow nose and flames coming from that. That I think would look really cool, with chrome wheels! Can you do chrome? I guess silver would be the 1918 equivalent considering all of the brass and paintwork on the vehicles of the day. I don't even know if they had chrome plating back then.

Again, I really appreciate it PD.
