I have a boost effect Tim... I'll try to get into the old comp over the next couple of days and snag it for you.

Not rivet counting... but the gear legs look rather delicate? Maybe it's just the angle, but they look frail.

Never could figure out where the gear on a Viper went, nose gear rotates up into nose... but mains? Up into the engine casings?

DW,
Span= 4.6m
Length=9.0m
Height=3.11m
Fox,
Hope you find that effect. Was fooling around with some of the FSX default effects. Had some strange results, to say the least!
The gear is what it is. Maybe some exotic alloy? Gear was based on the studio full sized prop Vipers. If I had designed the Vipers, the main gear would retract inwards, like a P-51, or Ki-84.
If ya think about it, most movie spaceships lack properly designed gear.

Sorry Tim, the old comp won't boot. I'm going to see if I can haul the drive out and drop it into this machine... but I think the drive was the reason that machine was failing in the first place.

I'll keep looking, maybe it made it onto an archive disk at some point.

Where do you put the fuel for those engines? This looks to be a SHORT range fighter. http://sc.webmessenger.msn.com/10.1.0323.0/session/images/emoticons/smile_wink.gif

The energy density of Tylium makes the difference, small tankage for sure!
